I just found this 600Mbps for $50 a month in my account. This internet plan gives a $30 credit if you have a mobile plan with xfinity. If you do the cheapest plan they have for just $15 a month, total cost would be $50(internet) + $15(mobile) - $30(promo) = $35 a month. There's also a one time $299.99 phone credit if you want to take advantage of that. I've confirmed it with customer rep online. Including that as proof.

i got in on this plan in Nov.. now they are saying that the $30 credit on the internet kicks in only after 90 days. so for the first 3 months i am at $50 per month. Is this true or did i get a bad rep who doesnt know how to fix it?

their bandwidth cap is another ripoff that the government allowing them to do.
After moving to a service without a bandwidth cap, I dont know how y'all do it.

For example, I like to just jump on xbox game pass and play games over the internet. Im pretty sure I'd have maxed out my data cap in the first week if I had this bullshit.

That ignores the 4k streaming from Disney+
My kids watch the same movie over and over again. Sometimes they just leave it on and go out to play.
I can't imagine watching my home internet usage like a hawk. Can you imagine yelling at your kid to stop streaming taylor swift because it wastes data?

not sure, if existing customer "add" a new line, will promotion still apply?
If it does apply, what is downside of opening a "dummy" line?

I just did this deal about 2 weeks ago and completed the whole process last week. Yes, you have to open a new line if you are an existing xfinity mobile customer. I ended up opening a dummy line by transferring a Google Voice line in to try to also get the deal for BYOD that gets you $200 (this ends today 1/10/22).

There are a lot of chatter about this in a previous xfinity thread that talks about $30 for 600mbps. A lot of us who couldn't get the $30 were given this as an option. I tried calling three times over 2-3 weeks to try to get that deal but just ended up doing this which actually is $5 cheaper after tax (I have high mobile taxes) and I get an additional phone line plus potential visa gift cards.

I have yet to get a true bill for this yet since they pre-bill us and it takes a month or two for it to adjust and credit. But right now, my account says my internet bill will be $20 a month.

Yeah the rates for Comcast in the Bay are really good. I guess it's because we have both sonic, att, and google fiber out here? I'm on 800mbps for $20 a month after $20 mobile credit. I'm on the pay per gb plan for $12 a month (legacy) for 4 lines. I know Comcast gets reemed for being despicable, but the service in the Bay has been so much better than when I had them in Washington DC. I'm actually a happy customer. <shocked pikachu face>
Competition is a good thing!

I used to live in a Comcast only market. I paid 2x more for 1/2 the speed than my parents, who can choose from Comcast and Verizon FiOS. There were never any retention offers available, so my roommate and I would "move" every 6 months to keep our costs down.

Hope you have better luck cancelling those mobile lines than I did. 7 calls and 3 supervisors and in the end, they just removed my credit card from their files so it stopped charging me. Waiting to get my letter from collections.

I signed up on this deal in November. I am yet to see the $30 discount. I chatted with them a couple of times, and they said the discount applies after 45 days of signing up, which for me happened to be right on the day when the second bill came out. They say it will be credited back on the next bill. Fingers crossed! It is Xfinity after all.

Do you also have to initiate the BYOD by 1/10 to qualify for the $200 or can you just sign up for the internet and add mobile later? thanks

BYOD $200 is ending today, if you want that $200, you need to finish both today, is what I think.

I did this with the 900 mbps plan with xfi complete (for the unlimited data). Im paying 60(24 month promo price) + 16.10 (xfinity mobile line) - 30 (discount for xfinity mobile) + 5 (xfi complete promo price for 24 months) = $51.10 all in

make sure you had a DOCSIS 3.1 modem... or you won't see the speed you subscribed to.
Yeah shopping for one now. current modem handles ~300 so I am getting a little better performance until I pull the trigger.

You had to get the BYOD ordered by 1/10 (now it is $100 as of 1/11/22). You get 90 days to add a line to your mobile after you order the internet plan (I assume the $30 off would not happen until the line was activated.) The $200 or $100 (now) was just double dipping. I think $100 is still decent extra for the low monthly Internet price.
