I am not sure if this is widely known or not, so I thought I would share in case anyone else would benefit. I was browsing through the google play store today, and happened to notice that you can convert your "play points" to "play credit".

The benefit, as far as I can tell, is that allows you to convert the game currency to actual Google play credits which can be used across more digital products, like videos, tv etc...

The conversion is 100 'play points' to $1 in 'play credits'.

The real benefit is that if you are a gold member (those of you who took advantage of the google storage deal a while ago), you can earn a weekly bonus of play points by clicking a button . The amount of points you earn varies from week to week, and I had been ignoring it, but now that I know I can convert my play points to play credits, they just became a whole lot more interesting , lol.

To redeem, click my link I provided then scroll down until you see the "Google Play Credit" option. Redemption starts at 100 points .

Definitely this. It doesn't give you much (average for me is ~$15/year), but only takes about less than a min per survey, with most can be done in 15 secs.

It appears that is possible, IF you have enough balance. See my attached screenshot showing my google credit balance not being big enough to cover the $99 a year cost.

I've been doing the Rewards and making lots of google dollars for a few years, but about 4 months ago, i stopped getting surveys. I have no idea why. Any ideas?

It happens from time to time. They will come back unless you were routinely getting stuff wrong. Speculating, it may also be over time you become a less valuable data point given they know you already. I've been doing it for a while and I use to get a lot more questions.

I also heard that turning off location history can affect the rewards frequency. I know that I see quite a bit fewer of these in the past year or so, with a brief spike. However, with Covid etc... I do not go out and about much, so that probably does not help anything either. Most of my rewards surveys are related to a Preston plays video my kids watched lol

Thank you for the info! Looks like my $60 of rewards can cover 100 GB or 200 GB of storage just not the 2 TB version.

Oddly enough, I can't seem to get Rewards to work for YouTube Premium. My Rewards credits won't show up.

It happened to me last year. I stopped getting Google surveys since June or so until November or December. I aske someone on SD about it and he suggested me to occationally open the Google Survey app which worked. Shortly after I opened the Google survey app, I started receiving surveys. Try that.

Hmm. I don't know how to help you then. Maybe, uninstall and reinstall the app? Log out and log back in may help?

In addition to this you should check out the Google Rewards app. They send you small surveys (1-2 questions) every now and then and grant you some chump change in the form of Google play credits. I get a survey after every visit to a Cumberland farms and various other locations asking me if I went in and if I bought anything. I've gotten quite of bit of free Google play credits over the years from it.
