Im part of a family plan with the expansion pack. Will I be able to use this code on that plan?

I know on XBox, stuff like this is automatically prorated, but I dont know if Nintendo has something like that in place.

Has anyone been able to successfully just return the SD card? I don't really need the 128GB SD card as I already have a 256GB card in the Switch.

-OR-

If I can't return the 128GB card, can I take the current card I have data on in the Switch, and just copy/paste the contents over to the 128GB card and use it? I could find a better use for the 256GB card. Is it even possible to use a PC to copy/paste the data that the Switch writes onto the SD card?
