Help picking out a mount for a new TV

69 26 January 11, 2022 at 08:33 AM
Hey All,

Just ordered a 75" Sony (x950h) and I'm looking for a quality mount but its impossible to weed through the chafe these days.

Ideally the mount will tilt and I'd be open to going all out with an articulating mount but don't want the TV to stick too far out from the wall as its mounted on a wall you have to walk past to get into the room.

Some of the articulating mounts stick out 2-3 inches from the wall. This seems to be the norm.

Anyone buy something recently they're really happy with?

Steal a shopping cart from winn dixie & flip it over. Those 75" sony's fit perfectly between the wheels. If you are worried about nosy neighbors saying anything, just cover it with a bedsheet. Those are free too.
just steal one from the motel 6 on airline hwy the next time you stay there.

I would suggest you mod alert your post and request it get moved to the tech sub-forum...or at least put "No OT" in your thread title for no off-topic comments...

i moved your thread to tech support where, as dc noted, you're much more likely to get practical help. good luck!

To be honest you really cannot go wrong with Monoprice just pick one that can do about 150% of the weight of the TV

The Tilt will cause the tilted part to stick out
