"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"
SIM options
Tracfone: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
Total Wireless: Verizon
Simple Mobile: T-Mobile
Net10: ATT(now removed), T-Mo, Verizon
Pageplus: Verizon
Walmart Family Mobile: T-Mo
Straight Talk: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
I've been doing this a while and know the ins and outs of TFW. Verizon may or may not force all brands to their network at some point. They also may consolidate the brands, but that's the rundown.

Unlocking a Total Wireless device refers to disabling software that would otherwise prevent you from activating the device on another carrier's network. However, due to different carrier technologies, an unlocked Total Wireless device may not work, or may experience limited functionality, on another carrier's network. Total Wireless is not responsible for any limitations of service, or otherwise, resulting from the use of an unlocked device on another provider's network.
For Customers with Apple devices: Total Wireless will automatically unlock the device when it becomes eligible for unlocking. For all Apple devices activated with Total Wireless prior to November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked after 12 months of active Total Wireless Service. For Apple devices activated with new Total Wireless Service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked 60 days after activation in the absence of an indication of fraud.
Spoke to Customer rep who says he has no option to do anything and suggests to take it up with Paypal. I poked him to open up the order and look at any history, he is able to see 2 charges for same order. But again denies to do anything about it.. Asks me to check for 3-5 days for it to fall off and if it stays on then deal with Paypal. Pathetic Customer Service
I have to now keep checking every day.. Super waste of time..
The phone should be unlocked after 60 days. Now if it requires another 30 days of active service will be known in another 10 days.
Also attached a pic of the policy below, for reference
Attachment 11076334
From Tuesday, November 23, 2021
Added 60 days
Result: Saturday, January 22, 2022
Now we just have to identify someone who activated a device on 11/23/2021 to verify, assuming it would happen automatically on 01/22/2022.

Can you please tell me if these are brand new or refurbished phones ?
Thanks
FYI, "TW Return Policy:
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, simply contact customer service for instructions on how to return your order for a full refund. If and when you are ready to place another order, we will be happy to serve you again."
The ship-to address AND the billing address of your Credit Card have to be the same.
Ask a family member to help you on that
The address that I am sending it is on Texas, so there's no problem on that.
But users are mostly used to men posting deals under tech or cellphones.
You should see the "experts" forum (which I am part of), 90% male π
So I try extra hard to post deals that will really help SD users π
nice !

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank djdoc
It's why I keep saying no one will know actual policy requirements till AFTER 1/23 when 60 days have passed.
Until then people are just guessing.
cannot agree more
