I only agree with you on the "copy someone else' OG idea" 😒

I am not helping ppl to get rep points. I am cheap, extremely cheap 😒
I'm one a few women that love shopping but refuse to go into debt in order to dress well and have the latest phone 😒

My full time job has taught me all about trading with China, and the whole importing business along with tariffs and environmental laws.
If I can help ppl save money with a post that benefits the American market 😒 then so be it.
Most SD users are on the site to save money and give their children a better everything (clothes, shoes, phones etc…). So I will continue to help ppl, not everyone has the time and energy to learn how to save those hard earned dollars 😒

And if you think that rep points is my benefit 🙄 look at my points 🤣🤣🤣 it's just not worth it. I truly love sharing what I have learned from studying our economy 🙂 there is nothing wrong with that

Quote from needgeech :
Can't be more wrong. Where would SD be if we were all being spoonfed? Nobody would have figured out how to generate the codes. . .which the instructions of how to do so were mentioned what 12 or so pages back BTW. .takes all of 2 minutes to do yourself. . .and then proper credit could then be given to them instead of the spoonfeeder who is doing this for rep points The SD way is to rep the person in the thread with the NEW idea that helps all, and shun those that reap the benifits in same thread from other's original ideas. . .so that someone with actual ingenuity in the future is more likely to share some NEW insight. . .

This isn't a thread dependent of say T-mobile employees supplying an employee code for you to get what you want.

Someone posted the following comment in 'Black Friday iPhone deal thread'. Their Verizon iPhone Auto Unlocked on the 60th day.

"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"

Re post 1131-been Verizon's policy for awhile, here it is:

What is Verizon's device locking policy?
Beginning on 7/23/2019, devices purchased from Verizon are locked for 60 days from the date of purchase. This policy applies to new and existing customers, postpaid and prepaid plans and customers porting their service to another carrier.

Please see examples below for more information:

Device purchased at full retail price or on a device payment agreement – Locked for 60 days from purchase
Device purchased on a device payment agreement and paid off prior to 60 day requirement – Locked for 60 days from purchase
Customers porting out service – Device remains locked until 60-day requirement has been met
Verizon service canceled while device is locked – Device remains locked until 60-day requirement has been met
Prepaid customers – Locked for 60 days from purchase

If I suspend my service, does the date my device will be unlocked change?
No, suspending your device does not change when your device will be eligible to be unlocked.

Note: Suspending your device because it was lost or stolen will prevent it from being unlocked.

Question is if the policy is the same across all subs.

you should have activated it already to get the timer going.
we don't know for sure.
Someone who activated on that very date would have to let us know.

I think most are curious if it's possible to unlock after just the first month.

If I remember correctly, I remember Samsung A71 5G deal where people bought the Verizon model. It unlocked after activation and 60 days passing even after cancelling the line.

If the new policy is following Verizon unlock, this iPhone should unlock after 60 days without second month service.

No confirm yet. Probably give it a couple days or a week since I would imagine not everyone unlocked it exactly on 11/23. There is shipping time as well after purchase.

No, people are not really interested in whether it will unlock after the first month.

People want to know:

- will a TOTAL WIRELESS iPhone automatically unlock 60 days after activation.

There are some people on this thread that bought Total Wiress iPhones the week of 11/23 last year. We're all waiting to hear if this week (60 days after they activated) if they now have an unlocked iphone.

(Some people also want to know if they had to keep service activated that whole 60 days.)

Sorry, yeah I meant that as well. My wording wasn't correct. Unlocking after activating and waiting the 60 days. I don't mean unlocking after first month, but if second month of service is needed after the first month to get it unlocked.

I quoted the Verizon unlock mainly because the two policies should be the same.

I would like to buy Iphone 11 for my son as birthday gift next month. Can anyone share a code if you don't plan to use it? I tried to learn how to generate codes, but it is too hard for someone like me who doesn't know anything about web developer tools.
I would really appreciate it if!
