I've seen people report late morning and mid-afternoon, but it doesn't seem to be extremely consistent. It's kind of silly to call before the end of day 61 unless you have some kind of emergency where you absolutely need that phone immediately. No point in wasting their time and yours if not needed.

I don't mind waiting 1 hour, 1 day, or even 1 week+. As someone mentioned in a previous post, I'm just trying to get an idea of how long people have waited so I don't jump the gun and call in before TW gets ample time to automatically unlock my phone.

I texted 611611 and got back "your device is already unlocked". It's been more than 60 days. But in my iPhone, under general-> about, still show sim locked. Paid 2nd month. Did the siwc check, still says iPhone locked. Called unlocking department at TW a few times, they said my device is already unlocked. But no, it is still locked. I tried new sim, didn't work. I tried reset iPhone and put in new sim, still did not work. It kept saying sim not supported and in my device About, still says sim locked. Anyone has any idea what's happening? 😭😭😭

After 60+ days, my phone still said it was carrier locked in the About section in the settings, but when I texted UNLOCK to 611611, it said it was unlocked. Took a chance and swapped out the SIM card, and it just switched over to my T-Mobile service without any issues. I only paid for 1 month service.

iPhone 11 #2 activated on 1/20/22 and no additional service purchased unlocked today automatically. These both had RSIM soft unlocks and were in use with ATT the entire time once activated.

I had the same thing happen. Texting unlock said the phone was unlocked, but Sickw showed as still locked. I gave it a couple extra days and ended up calling them on day 63. Make sure you call the unlock department at 888-442-5102 and tell them your text says it's unlocked but it didn't work with a reset or new sim. The unlock dept is better than the regular reps, but some are still clueless and don't understand the problem as you ran into or will try to tell you that the phone isn't eligible for an unlock because it's a refurb and was previously activated. The first rep I called tried to insist that, but I just asked if he could take care of it. He kept going on with his excuses, so I just interrupted and said thanks, but I'd call back and get someone who knew how to do it. The second rep I got was more helpful and once I reminded him it's a refurb and the text definitely shows it as eligible for unlock, he said he'd put in the request. He said it may take a couple of days, but it flickered and unlocked just a minute or two later. If you get multiple reps who don't help, try waiting until another shift will be working. If you called early in the day, maybe try back late evening.

Also, when they deny your request, it seems they mark the call as complete and you should get a text to complete a brief survey. It's only a few questions, so make sure to complete it so the useles reps who don't help get dinged. I gave a score of 0 since he did absolutely nothing. One bad survey probably won't do anything, but hopefully they'll get it straightened out if multiple bad surveys keep popping up. I didn't get a survey yet for the second guy who actually fixed the issue, but that's probably because he marked it for an escalation that may take 48 hours and I'm guessing the survey will come after that.

Also note that if you fill out a negative survey for the rep, it will ask you if you want someone to call you back. Don't count on that callback though, because I never got one. Just call back and talk to another rep. The built-in callbacks for when they put you on hold work well though. Just punch the option for the callback and the system will automatically call you back when a rep is available so you don't have to sit on hold the whole time.

I had a XR refurb and I was expecting my unlock to be perfectly smooth because I never swapped the SIM and kept service active for the whole time since I was trying to get points. I even used points to keep it active for a third month since it was my first / main line on the account. And it was always charged / on and active with a TW signal and WiFi. By day 63, it still didn't show as unlocked even though the text said it should be unlocked. Sickw showed it still locked as well. I figured only people who did weird sim swaps, porting or other such things would run into problems with the auto unlock, but it looks like there are some weird glitches that pop up even with some that are completely typical activations.

I'm waiting to see if 2 of my friends XR will Auto Unlock.
I did the rsim on both of them for him and he is currently using them on tmobile.
I don't remember the exact date that we set them up with total wireless but it was towards the end of January

Hopefully by the end of this month it shows as unlocked for him.
