Are you sure that's C1 and not A1? Looking at their Deals page, the worse A1 is 1500 for 65.
C1. I bought 2 of the 77's at $2400 each then a 65 at 1499. They thew in 5 year warranties for each free. Video Only is a very well known retailer on the west coast. So dont listen to the trolls on here claiming they are small. They push huge volumes which is why they can wheel and deal.

When did you get these deals from VO? Was the 65 marked at 1499 or did you haggle?
The 2022 models are allegedly much brighter. I think they only matters if you are watching in a brightly lit room.
This has been mentioned in other LG OLED threads, it's only the top of the line model (i.e. $4000-$5000) that will have the substantial increase in brightness. Not really comparing apples to apples with comments like yours, not to mention on a deal site.
I bought a 48" LG C1 from Gamestop with the store credit from the pro member console trade-in deals a few months ago and LG gave me the 6 months HBO Max subscription even though Gamestop wasn't on their list of authorized retailers.
The TV packaging/box mine came in also looked cleaner and in better shape then TV boxes at retail stores. Only problem was they marked the tracking number as FedEx but it was actually for Pilot(I think that's the name). So I was surprised the TV was going to be delivered while the tracking on Gamestop's website still said waiting for pickup from FedEx.
Exact same thing happened to me as well with Pilot, was in the dark on shipping with it showing "preparing for shipment" until I got a call from Pilot to arrange delivery time the next day. Otherwise was pleasantly surprised buying from GameStop, got the 55" for about $300 after trading in several last gen consoles and my non OLED Switch!

I traded my One X in last month for $330. So maybe the 65" will get back down to $1799 again soon. I might just have to snag a C1 then
This hasn't been my experience once with LG and once with Samsung. They honored the warranty even though the vendor wasn't in the official list.
If you register the serial number number with them shouldn't be an issue.
