I already have a Sapphire preferred card, if I apply for this card then I can transfer the points to my Sapphire card so it gets more redemption value? I'm trying to see if I should downgrade my Sapphire to the Unlimited since the Sapphire has a $95 annual fee.

Is it possible to convert a Chase Freedom card to Chase Freedom Unlimited? I would love to have 3% CB for restaurants.

Regular freedom only gets 5x in the quarterly categories, anything else is 1x (barring specific signup bonus things where you get some added bonus for 12 months or something)

Everyone I talked to said to get flex over this card. Anyone who owns both can comment?

Just get both, there's no annual fee, and you get the sign up bonus for both

TLDR:
If you are planning on putting 13k to 20k on this card this year, this sign up bonus is worth more than the normal $200 sign up bonus for $500 spend, but it's still not worthwhile. Keep in mind the extra 1.5% only applies to the first 20k.

This means you have a few options:
1) Spend $500 on the regular signup bonus, and get $200 back
2) Spend $13300 on this bonus, and get $200 back
3) Spend $20000 on this bonus, and get $300 back.

You will need to decide if an extra $19500 in spending is worth the extra $100 cashback. Compared to the regular sign up bonus, the extra $19500 would only net you an additional 0.31% ROI. You can be using that 19500 on a 2nd or 3rd card bonus and make $500-3000 more. For example, if you sign up for the regular $200 freedom unlimited bonus, then the $200 freedom flex bonus 3 months later, you will have an extra $100 compared to this deal despite only spending a total of $1000 instead of $20000.

no. its only 300 IF you end up spending $20000.
there is no separate 300 that you get on top of.

i would not count that as any meaningful SUB whatsoever, AT ALL. pretty shitty quite frankly.
No, the bonus is 1.5% extra on top of the normal rates, but the extra 1.5% can only be $300 max for the first year. You'd still earn the normal rates as usual on top of the extra 1.5%.

I dont have a lot of cards, I got this one to separate my spending but after travelling, this card has foreign transaction fees. I just got that amazon 200 gc chase deal w/ no foreign transaction fees, I pretty much switched over to the amazon chase card.

Yes and no. There's no limit on the amount of freedom cards you can get. So if you already got some subs on the card and enough time has passed, it might be worth getting this for the extra cashback.

But yeah, it's not stellar
