I don't know why but these are coming up at my local Walmart. From what I've seen for the price it's a great deal. Make sure it has the accessories pr it won't be the right item. Hopefully everyone can snag one if it's available mine had about 3 but were in different sections

I have this from last time it came up (~$10 more and no accessories). It's great for homeowner use; car tires, pneumatic impact, cutting wheel, nail/staple. I'm going to go see if I can get another at this price.
A friendly note for new air compressor DIY users, be prepare to spend more money to setup the system. I bought the non-quiet version from previous deal and I realized there are more to just tubes, connectors and air tools to consider.
On the other hand, it is indeed a great tool for tough jobs. I got the anode rod off my 14 year old water heater in less than 5 minutes with an impact wrench.

It is loud indeed. I think it is over 90 decibels. So this one should be a lot better. It has slight lower SCFM but should be fine for most job. You won't be able to use it for continuous jobs like drilling anyway. Just get 3/8 in hose and high flow connector if you want to handle tough bolt like I did.

Any idea why this "quiet version" would cost less? I am debating on getting this.
