This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I like to think I would recycle anyway now that we have the habit, but sadly I am not totally convinced we would keep it up. We still have ants in our cans. Mad

Does boxed hair dye expire? I just tried to mix some up that I bought I'd say about 2yrs ago. It would not mix!
Oh wow. That is a totally good question for which I do not have an answer seeing as how I have never died my hair.

Pray Dear Lord, please don't strike me dead for telling such a big whopper.

Well, I questioned it over here to see if any of the pro's had experienced it for sure. It has been reported in the K thread that this now happens, or at least started happening last round. I am going to try it out and see on Sunday.
Man, would that be nice!!!

They also say that if you have a $1 off 2 coupon, it now will double to $2 on both items.

I'm skeptical, but will let you guys know if it works.
Quote from mamaoftwins2 :
Yup, I tried the Sobe BOGO last double..it doubled to make both free.....

Not sure about $1/2 cpns....
Thanks for the replys. I was curious because I have a crap load of Ziplock Qs burning a hole in my binder and they are good for the Cat promotion. I guess I'll give it a try also on Sunday and report back.

I don't know, but my mother never forgets to remind us that is costs her ".25 a flush" LMAO I try to hold it until I get home so I don't have to feel guilty for flushing Embarrassment
If its brown, flush it down. If its yellow let it mellow.

vomit Yea, I know...but my Granny is a cheapskate too. I dont know how in the hell she lives with ONE window AC unit and never cuts that thing on. She lives in Georgia.

ETA~ my Ziplocs are 14's. So they are good at Kmart if I get 2 items? Sweet!

I am trying to get off some labels on plastic containers. I got the label part off from soaking it, but any tips on getting the glue off from the label. I am scratching away with my fingers, but I have about 8 of them to do and its not going so well.

That's the best for getting goo off, especially label-goo and tree sap.

I *think* I've heard 6 months, but I'm pretty sure I've used older stuff than that w/o problems.

Good morning everyone! Thanks for the answers to the hair dye question. It looked questionable so I tossed it, I don't want green hair or something strange like that! My SIL is a stylist so I may just head over to her today.
Getting ready to clean up before the inlaws arrive on Tuesday!
But anyway I now totally agree with you for the deals thread idk why I go there sometimes!

Since we've been talking about K so much are there any $$$ amount that need approval? Like a $10 or $20 or does it sail right through? I am still learning and decided to give K another chance since SB helped me out!! Thanks again!!

$20 don't need signatures fromt he Major card brands (Vi, MC) because they assumed the liability if it was bad in order to make it more convient for people to use the cards. Amex started doing this recently as well. Walgreens I believe doesn't make you sign under $50 but the assume the liability if it's fraud.
