I think CVS registers are a little smarter nod I know 992's beep and they do not allow any overage. It's been a while since I've done deals so I cant remember specifics off hand, but I do know they are a little smarter.
Nope. Not unless they've changed the system in the past couple of days. Wink

Unlike WAGS, there is message that pops up on the screen at CVS for a 992, but it's only to ask whether the Q is on a taxable or non-taxable item. In fact, the *only* way you can get overage at CVS w/just a MFQ is with a 992. (Recent example of clearanced Dry Idea w/$2 IPs). Once the cashier selects the appropriate button on the screen, though, the full value of the MFQ comes off, no problems. Big Grin

Oh, and I just got back from T (my little man is becoming a T regular Smilie). If you are still holding any of the $2/2 Crystal Light Qs, they are dropping to the bottom. Caused me some confusion at the register.

Cashier missed 3 $1 Qs. Sadwalk Oh well.

The best 21000 item I could find for some 16s was Kraft Deli Deluxe cheese for 4.39. Anything better?
Hey SB

I don't have my coupons up here to check, but I know 21000 is in my pile.
If its for Easy Mac cups I usually get the 4 pack of Easy Mac shells that is $3.69 I think.
If its for the Chef Boyardee I usually get the Pam Professional High heat, but its only $3.29

We just don't eat the Kraft cheese so that never worked for us. Velveeta is also a contendor if you use the stuff. Again, we don't so it didn't work for us.
HTH but probably confused you more!

I had some funny things happen with some Qs there and I'm still trying to figure it out. Are the registers smarter than wags/target? Meaning, do they read the 3 fam digits of the code and not just the manuf portion?

Also, do 992s behave the same at CVS as wags? Finally, do any Qs otto at Wags or CVS or do they all prompt for price?
I was wondering this too..I tried using the $5 coppertone cpn and it beeped..And no, I didnt have the product with the shorter barcode...

My dad died Tuesday and I have my stepmom at my house this week. She is going to go to an Alzheimer's facility next week, but I have been there 3x now and they keep it pretty chilly, like maybe 74 degrees. She is cold at my house and we keep ours at 78. She has a cute White Stag zip up cotton sweater that I would like to buy her more of. Does Walmart carry White Stag? Thanks so much to anyone who can help. I posted this in the Walmart thread, but I have never kept up there and am hoping someone here may have an idea....
I'm sorry for you loss hug I do believe White Stag is an in-house brand of Walmart. I'm not sure they'll stock sweaters this time of year-depends where you are I guess. I hope you find something hug

Your best bet might be to hunt something on Ebay.. most stores don't carry sweaters in the summer, I don't think. But White Stag is definitely a WalMart brand.

Finished my first week of CVSing. Managed to use up all of my spanish pampers party Qs and a few $1 MQs - grand total of "free" pampers = 22 packs. Nothing like what some others are pulling in, but I'm pretty happy. Now for a few days of rest before "diaper-palooza" resumes next week with huggies at T.

I never had a coupon otto at CVS, they always asked for price in my stores.

Thanks! I'm not trying to do anything fancy. I just don't like shopping when I don't know how my Qs will behave, or should I say, how the register will behave.

I was going to use one of the dove ultimate deod/body mist Qs on the dove deod that was on sale this week at CVS. At least that was my plan. I thought the ultimate deod was part of the deal. First time I bought some, Qs worked fine, but when I got to the car, I realized that type of deod wasn't part of the deal. I returned those deod and bought the reg one that was on sale. Next day I went to a diff store and bought the regular dove deod that was on sale. I had one more MQ for ultimate deod/body mist, so I tried to use it. Totally beeped and wouldn't take (not sure if cashier could have overridden it). Cashier said it was "because the deod is on sale" and that the register doesn't take Qs for sale items. But she didn't really seem to know what she was talking about. The only thing I could figure was that the register was smarter and, even though the manuf portions matched, the 3 digit family code didn't.

But here is where it gets weirder... I took a look at the family part of the ultimate deod and it doesn't match the Q either Dontknow So all that said, I'm not sure why the MQ worked on the ultimate deod and not on the regular deod. Confused

Thanks to everyone for the White Stag answer and the sympathy. I should have described her garment better, it is a barely a medium thickness cotton knit with long sleeves that zips up vs. a real sweater. I still may be out of luck but it is white so I was hoping maybe it was a summer thing. I am kind of mad at my brother and his wife, they left their house for a 12 hour drive here Thursday at 1:30 p.m. because they wanted to help. They want my step mom to pay all their hotels and it is 48 hours later and they have yet to show up. They did go to the Alamo this morning and then rode the river barges after staying at a hotel on the Riverwalk 20 miles from our house.

Cathy,

Years ago I had a White Stag warm-up suit in navy that sounds like what you're talking about. Why don't you check the warm-up/sweats section at WM?
