My mom hit a duck and her babies many years ago now... we haven't let her forget it either. See a rubber duck in the store with my sister "we should get this and put this on mom's windshield" ... we're kind of mean I guess laugh out loud We affectionately call her Duck Killer LMAO

That is so terrible EEK! How would they feel if someone that didn't like dogs or cats ran over their pet??

People that are cruel to animals are just not good people. How people treat beings (be it animals or people for that matter) that are weaker or smaller than you shows a lot about their true character.

Yea..I still remember the duck that was sitting in the road...watching cars go by.
On my way home....a pile of duck feathers...when i drive that road still I pause and think of that duck sitting and just watching the cars go on by....

the ducks lay eggs by our front doors. snakes eat eggs. so people will take the eggs and move them so as not to attract snakes. there are so many ducks that people just hit them. Thankfully not too much. My dd has three that love love her. They follow her everywhere when she's outside because she feeds them. One, a white duck will jump in her lap and let her pet him. Yesterday she was at the neighbors and left the door open for just a minute and all three ducks followed her inside laugh out loud then sh$t on the floor LMAO

I cried for an entire afternoon when I saw an accident on the 5 involving a car and a motorcyclist. Made me wanna be back in NE where traffic isn't crazy. Cyclist was trying to get up but the Marines that stopped to help wouldn't let him.
