This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

More than likely they were going to try to attempt to remove your player - maybe got scared and ran before they had a chance.. Mad I'd definitely report the theft of your gate card, though. Hope they didn't damage your window or door or anything!

That's what I was mentioning to my DH. I was wondering why they didn't just take out the whole thing? It's kinda useless to just have the faceplate. Dontknow

No damage was done to the car due to the fact that my lovely DH forgot to lock the passenger side door. Annoyed

That sucks. Happened to us once, only they took everything that wasn't bolted down, and some things that were (cd player)....the worst part was knowing that someone was in our yard at night. Cold

Holy Jalapeno, it's hot. 5:00 and it must be over 100*, especially in parking lots. ugh. Thank goodness Target is just a couple blocks from me, or my ice cream would not have survived the trip home. It would have been milkshakes.

I used the 1.00 wyb hunts ketchup and mustard q from the Publix Fire Up The Grill flyer. My T had hunts ketchup for 1.02, so made for some really cheap ketchup.

I have never locked my car doors. I would rather them open the door and get what they want than smash my window and have to replace it too...

Yeah, true. I don't think they would have broken the windows to get into my car, and only got in and took what was in it because they didn't have to make a lot of noise to get into the car.

I did have happen to me once (a few years ago with the same car) where the person was using what looked to be a screwdriver to pry off the rubber sealing around my windows so they could try and push my windows down to get into the car (saw a part of my rubber sealing torn a little bit and what looked to be screwdriver marks on it). Luckily they couldn't do it and so moved on to another car (my ex-bf's). They attempted to do the same thing with his car (a brand new, literally only 2-3 days old, Alero) and the window ended up breaking. He was pissed.

Totally out of the loop, and I haven't read up on the deals thread in days, so I hope I haven't missed much but ran into Target today and the Summer garden stuff was at 30% as well as the grilling stuff.
Can't wait for that to go 75%.

Not much else exciting other than some new to me educational items in the dollar spot for DS.
I saw that too. Not the $1 spot since we don't have that but the lawn stuff. Smilie

Sorry to hear that. Frown Maybe they broke their faceplate. Dontknow

Yesterday was pretty cool. Hubby had an organizational day at work. (read that as a picnic on beach with coworkers. laugh out loud) It was very relaxing. Yeah, we live across the street from the beach. But for some reason it was so relaxing at this beach, I just wanted to sleep....ZZzzzzzzzz. Then we went to T, WM, Costco, and HD......It was a long day. I have a beach shot from my phone that does not do the water color justice and a fun picture from a HOT sale I found yesterday to share with yall......

My dd's car got broken into once. She left a coach handbag in it, locked...they broke the window, stole 2.00 and threw the handbag on the ground. I knew right then it was someone who had no idea how much a Coach bag costs laugh out loud

HD, I've been watching the news with NKorea. Time for you to make a trip to the mainland? I've got extra room hug

laugh out loud Maybe it will be 20 feet this time. Well this can't be good news for our ocean friends at the very least. :

Oh my goodness! I would love to come back! Bounce We went on a roadtrip further south and had lunch with Nightwingz when I was there. I think our pictures must be plastered in every 7-11 on the southern gulf coast of Florida. Angel Not: Grin Nightwingz and Crazy were both wonderful. Smilie

I should actually be coming back to the mainland at some unknown point in time soon. My property in Georgia will require my presence. We should get together and go pick up Crazy by her ankles, shake her and see what coupons fall out. Teehee
