This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

My kids could eat mac and cheese every meal if I let them.. I hope that one per transaction is written in really small printBig Grin

Hey, I made my son apply for a job at target.. He was looking for a summer job and the lod that I like told me they were hiringwoot I hope he gets on.

Went to publix today.. didn't find any twizzlers coupons, or any of the other coupon booklets mentioned, but did score a few more "family reward" booklets. Found blinkies for .75/2 ez mac, and 1.00/2 m&m's.

Ok... so I caught up (well as much as I could for now) and I was going to explain things in detail about why the trolls were in here.... but since your all tired of it I won't go further into it other then the following:

the dancing turtle is what the "pirates" call the "orig. PINK Ninjas" in the VS thread... which is me= Turtle. I was part of the orig. Ninjas that left SD to a private forum roughly about 2 yrs ago and came back on occasion along w/others... notice more Ninjas in the VS thread since the "dictator" took over the private forum..... but yeah so those that asked me about what the turtle meant & why I think the trolls from the VS thread are in here.

Anyhoo..... the other smileys I'm still trying to learn what they mean here in Target thread so yeah.

Oh and I do see there are A LOT of you guys in FL so if your looking for a Publix and your in S. FL there was a brand new Publix built (about 8 mths ago it opened) right next to where we lived in Parkland. You guys that aren't finding coupons may want to check @ that store cuz honestly its out in the middle of nowhere and most people didn't know about it.... the shopping center was still being worked on before we left too. I know the residents of PG&CC knew it was there cuz it was literally right there that I could climb the wall and be behind the store but there weren't too many residents that lived there so I doubt there is a lot of traffic to the Publix? so maybe a better chance at getting some good Qs? Also, a lot of my neighbors weren't really "coupon" people.... I guess you could say. Anyway, the store is off of University in Parkland. HTHs someone!

Also for beaches in FL. I heart going to the Keys.... so beautiful. Sanibel was also another fave.... esp. for seashells (great to do w/the kiddos... well if you can wake them up to do it)! You have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to get them but the shells you can get along the beach are jaw droppingly beautiful. The one we went to more tho was Deerfield Beach.... since it was the closest to us... parking to go is horrible tho.

*I think* she wouldn't be able to check you out tho. I remember in FL there were these twins that worked as cashiers and their mom came in w/the brother and a manager had to come and assist w/the transaction.... it was like over a year ago so maybe things have changed  Anyway, this was during the Pizza Hut TQ and I ended up giving her a couple of those to use Smilie

Ok, so my parents, the snowbirds, live down in Boca Raton 5 months out of the year... I told me dad whule they are down there their mission is to find coupons and mail them to me... This was his response, "Oh, Publix doesn't take coupons" Doh Oh daddy! Come on! I'm going to have to put my mom on the mission. She will get the job done Ninja

The only downer is that you have to litterally get up @ like 5am to get prime pick otherwise most of the shells are gone by 7am EEK! .... the first time we went w/friends we made the mistake of going down around 7am.... the kids still had fun in the water tho. I miss FL & how there was always a good "weekend trip" to take.... Disney, Keys, Naples..... now I get to look forward to Dallas & beef jerky "weekend trips" LMAO j/k just everything is sooooo far to get to Sadwalk

I have some of the easy macs and the "one per trans" isn't exactlyin small print Mad I haven't used those Qs very much, but have never had anyone notice that wording though Cool I love mac and cheese! Forget the kids... I could eat it at every meal Teehee

Oh ok, we lived in Boca too. Parkland is like right next to Boca... well it's more like Boca, Coral Springs then Parkland all boarder each other..... tell your mom to go to Parkland and to find North University. Off of N. University there is a community called Parkland Golf & Country Club (on the left), drive past that and I want to say like 2 blocks down will be the Publix on the left. Just warn them NOT to speed and follow the speed limit. Parkland police really enforce the speed limits.

Also in the opposite direction on University there is a 7-Eleven that had good coupons from time to time... very friendly people too. Coral Springs & Parkland (much friendlier people IMO....)
