When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Frozen Strawberries [foodnetwork.com] by Alton Brown. I saw this a few weeks ago and thought it was so cool (no pun intended) - it involves dry ice. We've always just frozen then in plastic bags, but they are soft once defrosted. This technique is sone I'd like to try.

Too many steps for me, I'd forget about them! So should I use the reynolds vac on them I assume?

If you want them whole, wash, core, and place on a cookie sheet in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes. Then pop them into some freezer bags. If you want them sliced, do the same thing but slice them and layer in a single layer on the cookie sheet. It's great for when you only need a little bit for a recipe, etc... I've never had any problems with them being too mushy for us to eat. Definitely not the same as straight out of the clamshell case, but still good to use.

I searched ebay for them, just out of curiosity, and WOW, that seller has some jacked up prices!! Luckily I got what I need from some very generous Publix Peeps in here. hug

Yes, it is frustrating when those damn TQs beep for no reason. My experience with any TQ that is for 2 or more items, is that it *usually* beeps. Dontknow Maybe their thinking is if they make it a beeper, the cashier will check to make sure you bought the minimum requirement?
I'm not sure if these particular Q's are beepers if you buy the *correct* item, but I can confirm that they are beepers if you happen to accidentally buy the wrong items. Wink2
Yeah, I gave up on bidding. I'll just have to try to use some overage to get the ice cream at a good price. Besides, many more paypal charges and my hubby is going to make me get my own bank account. LOL.

They are definitely beepers on the correct product. They get K1'd, but I ALWAYS have to dig through the bags and show them the item - which is annoying when you have a baby in tow.

Does anyone know exactly which Restoratives/Expressions those coupons will work on? I've never had one that didn't beep. Very frustrating.
The last peelie worked for me on the restoratives with no beeps

I don't miss the diaper phase but I have 3 boys who really need to work on their "aim" Mad
My 42yo DH needs to work on his aim as well. I feel like putting an instruction sheet on the bathroom door:

Step 1: Make sure dirt is off feet from being outside
Step 2: Make sure glasses are on, cant see without them
Step 3: Lift toilet lid
Step 4: pee
Step 5: Clean up residual pee from around toilet
Step 6: throw piece of toilet paper with residual pee in toilet, not on floor
Step 7: flush
Step 8: wash hands
Step 9: leave room, close door so baby doesn't go in without us and flush

Did you here about that 4 yr old who flushed his brand new pupppy down the toilet (the kid said the puppy was dirty and he was giving it a bath in the loo)? They called an emergancy plumber and used a video camera to see where the puppy was and pushed him out safely. They video was nuts!

My ds flushed everything. Expensive perfume, poured down the toilet and flushed. Hairbrushes, flushed, Happy Meal toys...flushed. Hot wheels...flushed. He would stand beside the toilet and start unrolling the TP, feeding it to the toilet and flushing at the same time...needless to say, we knew the plumber quite well.

Found an Easter Littlest Pet Shop toy today at ST...rang up INF and the cashier put in $.99 for it without batting an eye. woot

Quote from SLickCate :
Many of us used the $2 printable that had a picture of Listerine on it. It also had fine print that it was valid on many other items, including any Reach toothbrush or floss. We bought the 99 toothbrushes and floss, and since the coupon is a 992, beepless overage of $1.01 per item.
nod Haven't done this, but this is what I've been reading that others are doing.
