This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hey Barb Wave Is that the Visa Signature deal? I actually tried to do that a few weeks ago but when I went to check out it only gave me the option of using the Visa signature card, no spot to put the fandango code. Has that changed?

Hi SharonSmilie . Yes it is that deal. Sorry I dunno about the entering of the code since I did not have any to enter. I used my Visa and paid. I have not used one card more than once yet...Big Grin I don't know how they track the discount, by CC or by email. If by email/account then I will use "New Customer" each time and use a new email. Hth someone.

Does anyone here keep a notebook of stores and sales? I am trying to figure out how to keep things straight and organize my coupons so I'm not spending time digging through them while standing at the store or forgetting something in my shopping trip. I keep wanting to get back to CVSing, but I am just so unorganized with everywhere else I try to shop!
I keep a notebook near my computer. I have some running lists for stores that consists of things to be on the lookout- like peelies, TPCs, clearance, etc.; I just keep adding to those lists. I also have a page for the weekly sales that I'm interested in. I make notes on that page to look for some of the TPC and clearance things I already have on the running list, as well as notes to use up some coupons that are expiring.

I don't do the binder method - PIA and way too time consuming. I have a large plastic box (larger than a shoebox) and envelopes labeled A-Z and #. I try to put by the brand name (Nice 'N Easy goes in the C envelope for Clairol; but if I remember something better by it's own name then it would go in the N envelope for Nice 'N Easy).

I also have a couple of coupon envelopes that close with velcro. One is just for T. I match the coupons together (MQ + TQ, putting them in order of expiring TQs). The other coupon envelope is for all other stores, but I need to get some more. I use dividers in the second one for each store: Petco, CVS, Walgreens, Winn-Dixie, Wal-Mart, health food stores, etc.

As I read online and mark my notebook, I pull out or print the coupons and place them in the proper store envelope.

Quote from KMA :
Just this morning, when I woke up, I thought who will be next? But shouldn't it be just one more? 1. Carradine, 2. McMahon, 3. Fawcet, 4. Jackson, 5. Mays
6. Karl Malden. Or should 6 be Gale Storm (My Little Margie who died last week)? If Karl is 7, then we have two more to go.
