This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Had a kickin' run at T yesterday. I'm going to miss that Ziploc TQ when it beeps expired. Isn't there a site where you can type in a UPC number and it will print out a barcode for you? I have no idea where I saw it, but I'm sure it exists. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We're recovering from lots of time in the pool.

Leapster 2 is the latest version I think. It's clearanced right now at Target for 30% off. Wait for 50%. You just missed that star wars version though

Today at Target the two 16 Glade coupons I used did not auto adjust. They both scanned and asked for the price and then it said item not found like a lot of the free coupons do. This was very strange as these always auto for me and I had the exact right candles. The boy scanned the coupons with the flat bed scanner and my highest priced Glade item was only $8.99 so nothing very high. I wonder if he covered the left or right bar code or something weird which made it do that? Or could it have been his register? Usually these coupons scan in the price easily and never say item not found on the exact right product. Anyone know what might have happened? Later in the day I went to another Target and used two more of my Glade coupons and had no problems with them auto adjusting or saying item not found, so I was puzzled. I have used the Glade coupons at the first store, a newer store to me, twice in the past and they worked fine.

Thanks teri, I had a feeling this was the problem. I never had this happen before and it messed my run up a little bit. I guess there is nothing I can do if they do this except if I am using more then one coupon and I notice it prompting for price, I could tell them if they scan the left bar code the coupon will auto adjust and they won't have to enter a price or look anything up.

I've had this happen with the flatbed as well and so I always nicely suggest they use the handheld scanner because it will make it easier for them than having to look up the price. Big Grin
