All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! It did seem like the peeps were either 'new' buyers or 'used' buyers....not many crossed over and bought some new, some used !?! But I am still super happy with the outcome....to the point that i have put the remaining things back in my shed for 'next time' instead of driving them over to the shelter like I should do.
Does anyone know if there are ever 992s that are 16's? Pounce Qs are usually 992s when they are $ off coupons, so just wondering if anyone knew.
I love it when they stand there looking befuddled.
Hey Cherry.
The filthy KM is the Lombard store. Gross-O-Rama!
Have you been to the Forest Park one? I think that one is
My co-worker's kid works at that one, so I am leary of going there
GS stockpile is coming together nicely. I can hardly wait to get all of this stuff out of my garage!!
Found the most dirty, disgusting KM in the state of Illinois yesterday -
Hope everyone is having a great day today ... I need a nap.
I hate to say it, but I'm glad the week is over, because I can't control myself not to go more if it was still going on!

I have had a couple of small yard sales b4 and have not done very well with them, I decided the space all my YS stockpile is taking is better served with crap we could use so I decidied to go big....did craigslist got lots o signs, lots o tables, loaded up the minivan w/out seats and drove to the in-laws who areoff of the main street here in our small country town.
Had all my used yard sale junk put there, big bucket of baby boy clothes I wont be needing and all of my stockpiles.....ended up being out there long enough to get sunburn on my face and made
How did you end up doing? I had a lot of people expect a deal on top of the amazing deal I was already priced at but most of the times I didnt mind.
I sold about 80% of my stockpile. I made a few deals with people on day one and wished I hadn't cause I sold out of some stuff early, but live and learn! Other than the stockpile stuff, I sold a couch, some baby clothes, and a few baby items (toys, stroller, shoes, etc)
Overall, I was very pleased, but am tired. I definitely plan on selling again when I get my stockpile built back up. And now I have a better idea of what to stockpile.
As far as selling old stuff with new stuff, it worked out fine for use. We had 4 families selling together and I was the only one with new things.. I think everyone did well and each person was looking for different things when they came.
This was my best yard sale ever. Our house has never been a good location, but this time we had it at a friends house on the main road. it was a pain to move everything, but it was worth it in the end..
I am off to bed.. too tired for any shopping this weekend.

Ooooh, is that the one on Roosevelt Rd? I was only in that one once (and that was pre-SD days). I forgot that there was one there, thanks for reminding me, if I start shopping K like I want too, then that would be another one that I could hit on my home from work!

I wish I could sell 80% of my stockpile in a day, as DH would be so happy, but I have way to much stuff for that to ever happen. I'm lucky if I am about to sell even 10% at a time, but like you I usually make around $800 selling stockpile stuff in a sale. I don't sell from home, so I have to transport the stuff and I can't take nearly as much as I would like.
Today I made a Target run, and was able to buy another banquet table with my GC's from the softsoap deals and such, so at least I got something useful. I have 4 tables now, and would like to get one more eventually. Of course I got more softsoap and glade, at which DH just rolls his eyes. I really do love air freshners, and have several all over the house. These are also great sellers at sales!
I remember a story not to long ago, where a crematory was dumping bodies out back of their property, because the cremation machine had broke down and they didn't have or want to spend the $10,000 to get a new one or get the old one fixed I can't remember which. All the while collecting money from families who wanted their family member cremated. What I don't get or believe is why or that they couldn't afford a new machine or fix the old one, when doesn't it cost $750 to $1,000 to cremate someone? If that is the case it seems they could have paid the machine off with profit after 20 jobs or so.
