When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

liver damage for you? wtf? So at what point do they do something about it?

That commercial IS hilarious!

Thanks for the thoughts and Pray everyone!
But on the toys thing... Evil
What if I sell them on craigslist for real $$? Is that ok? Cause the big toy clearance is coming! 75% off! Whee

PLUS 75% off clearance toys at K? I can't NOT buy those cheap toys! Please mama? laugh out loud

Ok ok, if you make a PROFIT you may buy toys. Roll

When that Ikea commercial comes on, I start to Roll and DH just looks at me like, how'd they get you on tape? laugh out loud

I have no idea what my doctor's plan of action is. I sit and wait to hear from him. These results are the suck though. Crazy thing is everything else is coming back normal. So it's not preeclampsia or HELP. The other things the interwebz show are Cold

I need to step away from the interwebz!

Liver disorders that are specific to pregnancy, including hyperemesis gravidarum, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, acute fatty liver of pregnancy, preeclampsia/ eclampsia, HELLP, and hepatic rupture, may have a profound impact on the morbidity and mortality rates of mother and fetus.
It's not cholestasis as I had my gallbladder removed when I was 3 mos pregnant with Mini Thrift.

It's not preeclampsia or HELLP as all other labs are coming back normal.

It's not hypermesis gravidarum as I do not have persistant nausea or vomiting.

It's not hepatic rupture as we've been looking at this for over a month now. They would have needed to act quickly if it were a rupture.

I don't see how it can be acute fatty liver of pregnancy as it is described as:

Quote :
AFLP causes nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain especially in the upper abdomen (epigastrium), jaundice (yellowing), frequent thirst (polydipsia) and increased urination (polyuria), fatigue, headache, and altered mental state.
Seriously, WTF is wrong with me?!

So my DH lost his job yesterday. EEK! They are closing his location completely, gave him til the end of the week. So saving money is now a requirement, not just a hobby! This happened to us 3 years ago right before we had DS2 and he says he's more worried now. But he's like "we didn't have all this free stuff and we still had 2 kids so I don't know why I'm more worried". I guess it's SuperMofo to the rescue! Superman
But seriously, I just hope he finds something soon. Last time it was 5 weeks. I was home on maternity leave so it was nice to have him around. But this was before the economy flushed itself down the toilet.
Aw, sorry to hear about your DH's job loss!

I totally understand the requirement of saving money. I'm very thankful that I've found SD and the wise ways of couponing! I'd like to help out with any coupons you may need - please let me know or send me a list and I'll see if I have them and send them out. hug

Quote from Sharon526 :
Good luck to him! Comfort Let me know if you need any coupons from this past weekend's inserts, I have lots.

All I can say is thank God for coupons, because otherwise we couldn't afford to eat. I feel like I have been interviewing forever. DH lost his job back in January, but finally found a job, albeit temporary, in May. Its only until the middle of August, but they are trying to find the money in the budget to keep him. I sent out three more resumes yesterday. I'm hoping at least one of us (if not both!) has a job in September!
hug Best of luck to you and your DH!! So scary...

Aw, that is really scary to be facing right now!! Comfort I did the same thing when I was told that my DD had a real high chance of having DS. I researched and researched (nuchal folds, nuchal fluid, head sizes, test results and their meanings, support groups, etc.) on the internet and finally my Dr. told me to STOP! (DH told the doc what I was doing). My Pray are with you!!

Comfort I'm so sorry. Hopefully it's just one of the quirks that some women go thru during pregnancy.

I had a heart murmur come up at about 6 months. After I delivered everything was normal again. Our bodies are put thru so much stress cooking up that Baby My liver counts are always high in labs. I'm not a daily kool-aid drinker just every now and then. Docs have never been able to figure why mine are elevated either. Dontknow

I'd be alright if they were elevated and stayed there...but they are elevated and increasing.

You are right, it will all work out.

Count me in the old lady group too!! Honestly, I am about to be 38 and would consider going for #5 if I was able, but the shop is closed.. Guess I will settle for the fact that by the time my DD (18 mo) becomes a teenager, I will probably have grandkids from one of the others
Well, I'm 35 and just getting started. Embarrassment Don't know if DS will be an only or what. (Can't even thing about that right now. Crazy)

hug So sorry about the job! Luckily you already know what to do (about saving money). I've felt really lucky ever since the economy has gone in the crapper not to be a person who was just TRYING to figure out how to save money. Our lifestyle hasn't really changed at all (well, of course it has, but not because of $$ ). It would be hard to start trying to coupon and stuff now out of desperation.

More labs yesterday...liver enzymes are still climbing Sadwalk All other labs are coming back in the normal range. I am very :confuse3 : on this one!

ALT (ALANINE AMINOTRANSFERASE)

Increases in these numbers indicate liver damage.
Thrifty, so sorry. I can totally relate. Many of you all may recall how many times I got sent to OB Triage during my pregnancy b/c of high blood pressure issues. And NO ONE could ever figure out why. Whee Drove me completely bonkers-- and now, when I get checked, my blood pressure is enviably low!! shake head

hello eveyone- I just posted this on the albertson/qfc thread- it's a great deal.

I just got back from QFC/kroger and there is an awesome Energy drink deal-
Buy 10 AMP's for 10.00 and then a catalina prints for a 10.00 grocery gift card-- I went back and got the 10.00 gift card then used that to pay and got another 10.00 cat for a gift card! I plan to do this deal alot!
I also got 10 smartwaters at QFC for 10.00- then the instant 5.00 savings then used 5 1.00/2 coupons- free.
oh- i guess you can do this deal at fred meyer too- I have not tried it there yet.

Also- here is the pre-view for smartsouce-

You don't have to drink to have liver problems. One of my good friend's dad died from his liver failing and never drank in his life...it can be some sort of genetic thing. My uncle is also in liver failure and doesn't drink. Just throwing that out there!
