This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I could freaking use the kool aid right about now. I saw the high risk doc on June 30 at that time he was not overly concerned with the numbers (mind you I had 2 sets of labs done and the #'s were low at that point in time). We ran more tests. Given those increased results we spoke on the phone and he wanted to run the tests again yesterday. I have not heard from him yet. I have an email into him and hope to hear from him today or tomorrow.
Please share what you find out!! Will be thinking about you. hug

hello eveyone- I just posted this on the albertson/qfc thread- it's a great deal.
We don't have those chains - but that sounds like an excellent deal!!!! Hope you get lots!!!

You have my thoughts & prayers!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry - I am one of those souls who reads everything & then was told to STOP reading by my doc .... but they just do NOT know everything! After I had my youngest my blood pressure went through the roof - think in the 200's and i had to be on tons of meds - no one could figure out why and it lasted a few months & then suddenly plummeted & I was suddenly on too many meds! More issues --- It was crazy! No one knows why??? I am sending positive thoughts that your liver is just behaving oddly & will right itself soon!!!!!!!!!!! HUGS HUGS HUGS

So my DH lost his job yesterday. EEK! They are closing his location completely, gave him til the end of the week. So saving money is now a requirement, not just a hobby! This happened to us 3 years ago right before we had DS2 and he says he's more worried now. But he's like "we didn't have all this free stuff and we still had 2 kids so I don't know why I'm more worried". I guess it's SuperMofo to the rescue! Superman
But seriously, I just hope he finds something soon. Last time it was 5 weeks. I was home on maternity leave so it was nice to have him around. But this was before the economy flushed itself down the toilet.
I am so sorry - this economy is in rough shape - and I think is in for more choppy waters!!! Sending hugs & thoughts!!! Let me know if you are looking for anything!!! HUGS

Quote from Sharon526 :
All I can say is thank God for coupons, because otherwise we couldn't afford to eat. I feel like I have been interviewing forever. DH lost his job back in January, but finally found a job, albeit temporary, in May. Its only until the middle of August, but they are trying to find the money in the budget to keep him. I sent out three more resumes yesterday. I'm hoping at least one of us (if not both!) has a job in September!
I am crossing my fingers & sending positive thoughts your way too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGS

I don't have anything to add, I have had sciatica and it is literally a PITA and thigh and calf. Don't need the sympathy vote, have meds that are working and getting better everyday... If you have not ventured out of the Target thread today, there are some pretty good magazine deals on the front page now.
I am sorry about your sciatica - it is super painful I know!!!! Sending heal fast vibes!!!

My three year old has had a sty on her eye for a couple of weeks. Nothing has been helping with it.. her pediatrician took one look at her (for the third time) when we went to his office yesterday and sent us straight over to see an opthamologist. HE took one look at her and said she has to have surgery to have it removed. So we are headed for her surgical procedure tomorrow morning at 6:30. We had reservations to be in Destin today, so we immediately cancelled all of that.

I hate this. I hate anesthesia. She has had two sets of tubes put in her ears in the past two years and I'm not good at dealing with this stuff. EEK! It makes me a nervous wreck..
