This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I carried Mini Thrift in like that too. I was much smaller at 38 weeks with her than I am at 34 weeks with LJ.

Cross posting in the threads I frequent.

Just got off the Mobile with the high risk doc. He's referring me to internal medicine as all of the other labs came back normal and he does not think this is pregnancy related. Annoyed 5 weeks of labs and no answers! Angry
hug hope they are able to give you the answers you need...good luck...

Awww y'all are too kind. I do not feel little/small in the least. It is funny how I pooched out super early too. I've only gained 12 lbs but my pre pregnancy weight was higher than my delivery weight with Mini Thrift. Granted I was 14 years younger and in much better shape.

I was going to cook Thai for dinner but had to take Mini to the gym to meet a friend. Had to sign off on her guest pass. We also waited 15-20 minutes for her friend and mom to get there Annoyed I think I'm gonna talk DH into going out or picking up take out. I am pooped!

Baby girl came through her surgery just fine. Boy, did she wail for the first hour after she woke up. EEK! Not "crazy anesthesia" type wail that can sometimes happen with kiddos in recovery, just "I'm VERY unhappy" wail. She was feeling much, much better after lunch and a two hour nap, and was running around the house earlier snorting and shrieking - I think she was being a horse, possibly? laugh out loud Thanks for all the kinds words, thoughts and prayers.

Her eye still looks pretty rough, but that's to be expected and it won't clear up for several weeks, possibly a few months.. I wanted to have her three year old pictures made, but not looking like someone has punched her in the eye. EEK! Guess they'll be more like three and a half year old pictures..

WALOS~ what exactly did they remove? I know you said she had a stye. My son gets them and they look rough sometimes. The doc gives us a prescription for some drops and they usually go away. So I was just wondering what needed to be removed. They took the actually stye out? Duh, I guess I could google it...just curious

So glad everything is better hug

I don't do well with them either....my 4 yr old dd has to have an MRI, EEG, etc. all while 'under'. Dh and I are worried sick about that part Frown
My son had to have those same tests done. He did fine, but it took him A LOT longer to come out from the sedation than they told us it was going to, so I was FREAKING out. Just wanted to give you a heads up, so if that happens you know it is normal. He did vomit several hours later as well, but they say it was not related, who knows. The other hard part was the sleep deprivation, not sure if you have to do that, but basically he had to be sleep deprived for the EEG and it was sooo hard to keep him awake all night for the early am test. I just pulled out all the things he loves (and I hate) like playdoh, finger paints etc. and we played those all night long.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. hug

They actually had to clean the sty itself out.. they made an incision on the inner eyelid and went in and cleaned out all the nasty stuff. The incision stays open and heals on its own so the drainage can take place. (This sounds yucky, but surprisingly, has not been a bad issue.) Think like lancing a bad boil that won't go away - opening it to allow it to drain the infection out. (Okay, THAT sounded even yuckier. EEK!)

Stressed. This on top of foot surgery and our house still not finished to get it on the market.. it has been a bad few months for us. EEK!

Thanks to everyone for all the kinds words! You guys rock! woot And I hope everyone's babies with tests being run have a smooth time of it. They warned me back when my daughter had tubes put in her ears - some kids react differently to anesthesia, and they can act "crazy" when they start waking up. It's perfectly normal, my nurses said they see it all the time. Screaming, kicking, yelling, trying to bite.. EEK! I'm so glad I didn't have to see my daughter doing any of that. I would have freaked out, even knowing that it was normal. laugh out loud
