This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Awww y'all are too kind. I do not feel little/small in the least. It is funny how I pooched out super early too. I've only gained 12 lbs but my pre pregnancy weight was higher than my delivery weight with Mini Thrift. Granted I was 14 years younger and in much better shape.

I was going to cook Thai for dinner but had to take Mini to the gym to meet a friend. Had to sign off on her guest pass. We also waited 15-20 minutes for her friend and mom to get there Annoyed I think I'm gonna talk DH into going out or picking up take out. I am pooped!
Awww, the belly pic! Your belly looks just fine and not big at all to me.. but I know it FEELS big when you're the one hauling the weight around. laugh out loud I looked like I had swallowed a beach ball. Seriously. It was the most ridiculous looking huge belly on a size 6 body. I always felt like I was going to tip over forward and roll around like a turtle until someone took pity on me and picked me up. I couldn't tie shoes for the last three months.

Thanks to everyone for all the kinds words! You guys rock! woot And I hope everyone's babies with tests being run have a smooth time of it. They warned me back when my daughter had tubes put in her ears - some kids react differently to anesthesia, and they can act "crazy" when they start waking up. It's perfectly normal, my nurses said they see it all the time. Screaming, kicking, yelling, trying to bite.. EEK! I'm so glad I didn't have to see my daughter doing any of that. I would have freaked out, even knowing that it was normal. laugh out loud
My oldest DD had her gall bladder out last year - and she reacted bad to the anesthesia too. Woke up very mean - hitting at the nurses and docs, and then she was crying and calling for me. I felt so sad to hear that - they didn't let us back to see her until she was over that stage (which is really a good thing, I suspect.)

I have a question regarding returns. DH picked up a pair of headphones and they don't work on our computer. Can we return without a receipt? He can't find it. *sigh*

I think it would be considered an electronics item, which means only an exchange for same item on defective item w/o reciept. YMMV you can always try.

I went from 110 lb to 185 lbs..EEK!..What pissed me off the most was people standing in the middle of aisles talking while I am struggling to get thru...I always wanted to scream and tell them cant they see an overly preggo lady ready to burst anytime..

Glad your kiddo is doing well....

Tootsie - Wish you the best for your DD's test...hug...I just noticed I forgot to send you the pet cpns..EEK!..sending them right now....

Proud mommy moment to share : We were at K yesterday looking for bday gifts and DS picked up one of the toy tool sets and said he wanted it..I have been wanting to buy him the workbench thing and I explained to him if he keeps the smaller one back I will get him the bigger one the next day..he thought abt it for a few mins, made me promise him 4-5 times and kept it back without any fit or tantrum bounce...I was so happy and proud....

thanks for the tips hug for the EEG, they want her up two hours later than her usual bedtime, then up 2 hours earlier. She.will.be.MEAN. Bigeye
Been there, done that MANY times.. my son has had about 6-7 EEG s done. For us, the sleep deprevation is not as bad as him complaining about not being able to have any sugar/caffiene for 24 hours before the test. He likes to stay up late anyway, and we just make his appointments for very early in the morning.. The doctor he goes to is 1 hour away, so we need to leave early. He is usually very tired, but still has a difficult time falling asleep for the test. I remember being in the room with him for his first test, he was 4, almost 5.. he just couldn't fall asleep. The tech was getting so aggravated I could tell. He was so miserable and just kept crying. But since that time, all of the rest haven't been too bad..
sending sleepy thoughts your wayZzZZz

I hear ya. laugh out loud

I've been Head Bang all day (well since yesterday) with the site here. At first it was down completely for me, then I could just see the front page. Finally checked it on DH's lappy (a PC running IE) and it seemed to work fine. So I downloaded Firefox (I always use Safari) and I could get into my account but it wouldn't let me post. Crying2 Finally went back to Safari and did a "reset" so I'm back. Big Grin

Anyway, that was a roundabout way of saying, I wanted to post on the deals thread the same thing you did but couldn't. Glad someone said it!!

Crying2 I tried to rain x Target and failed Crying2 Now I am out $76 that I didn't have to spend in the first place Crying2

Stay. Out. Of. The. Farking. Store.

Ummmm, yeah, that little thing about posting the improper usage of coupons kinda rubbed me wrong. I am sure their PM box is full as they fully disclosed it was OVERAGE that they missed out on. Seriously, I wouldn't PM someone for advice on overage if they just failed miserably at it. That is like asking the captain of the Titanic for lessons on operating a boat or the pilot of the Hindenburg for flying lessons. Roll

Just sayin Whistling

I must be brain dead...I never know what you all are talking about 1/2 the time. Probably better though that I don't know what the hell I'm (or anyone else for that matter) is doing.

Sorry for the OT, just had to post my 5 month old does the same except I carry him in a baby bjorn while shopping. As long as I'm walking he's fine. I stop for one second and he starts fussing. laugh out loud At checkout I have to bounce up and down on my heels the whole time. Gives me something to talk to the checkers about while they're scanning my Qs. laugh out loud

No advice on the Kellogg's; I've got the same problem. I bought 6 items yesterday 'cause I had heard it was OK to use 2 receipts. Oh well. Sadwalk
laugh out loud Too cute! I'd probably hand the cashier my kid and say, here hold him and keep moving while I scan my coupons. Roll

Yeah, Meema is my mom, I've talked to her lately but not about SD. I am sure since it is summer she is spending less time on the computer and more time outside. She also doesn't have a desk job that allows her to PW all day like I do. Hide
