I everyone - I'm just ignoring all the "P" talk LMAO!

I had a great run today at a store I have never shopped at before... way slick windshield run. Me likey! Got you a little something Thrift... watch your mailbox.

You definately need the refills for those $4 Gillettes to be beep-free, but my cashier was a trooper Whistling. All 14s and 16s played nice in the sandbox.

Little overage with the Softsoap Body Wash at $2.79 using the $2 IP and $1 T peelie. Since when is Electrasol $6.99????? Ok, it was on sale for $3.49 (and OOS) but still - wtf? Who would pay $6.99??? Got a raincheck to use up the rest of my Qs later.

There are $1.00 Crayola 12-pk colored pencils that are free with the $1.00 MQ peelies found on the Up & Up facial tissue boxes over by the school supplies.

That is all.

We stopped at KM today for less than 20 min so I could scope out 4.99 toys. I have a baby shower tomorrow then heading out on a business trip so no time when 75%. When I got home went to put the 4.99 toys away and realized one had been opened. Not only that, a KM bag was in it and everything was a mess. Going to give it to DH to try to exchange but sure I'll be chalking that one up too if they don't have one.

So I'm at grocery store real quick with DH and DS. Grab more coupons. He says ohhhh snapple, I like that stuff. Me-since when. Him-always. Me-4 years never seen you drink it. Him-you never buy it. Fine. Just wait buddy. You'll now have more snapple than you know what to do with.

Sigh. Going to do some CL and clean up a bit.

I know! I asked him "are you sure" like 3x. This better not be like the gatorade debacle where I have to donate 200 of them after the fact . nod

Just like I like ginger ale sometimes at lunch. Not a big soda fan but it suits me. After having so much of it around with these b3g1 schweppes, I am sick of it.

Thanks for the mattress info guys - I'm feeling better about the purchase now. It's a higher end Serta mattress. I think the sales guy knew that I was ready to buy on the spot so he kept giving me discounts. Maybe it was the SD "jedi mind trick" Coverlaugh
Oh I thought you ordered the serta from target.com!! Well if you used real money then.......

Did you know they had them on target.com? We went into a few mattress places and targets prices are very reasonable. I mean you could get a cheapie from a noname place but we eventually want one like you got so I'm always keeping an eye out.

I HATE it when that happens. We more than make up for it in the long run but it still sucks!

Kinda in the better to best pricing category. Think of it this way...how many years will he use this bed. Then divide the price by years and you will be pleased. Some things you can't rain-x. Teehee

That was exactly what I was thinking... my 17 yo DS is 6'3" and still in the twin we bought him when he was 4 or so. He went from the crib to a double mattress on the floor because we had one around but he has gotten a lot of good sleep in that twin bed.

What is funny is he still "fits" in his bed, mainly because using a twin is the only way he has room for a small couch in his room which he thinks is cool. But my step mom just went to an Alzheimer's facility and she is temporarily in a twin until her "real" room is ready next week and we can go buy her a double bed. And I am feeling sorry for her in that tiny bed. I guess it is all perspective.

Yeah, that happened to me last week. Thought that 11 PM cashier wouldn't care, but since my choice was her or her, I was SOL! I went back on Tuesday and this time my cashier was a young little boy and I had some beer in my order. Asked him if he was old enough to sell me the beer, he said no but SHE is, I look and it's my overzealous 11 PM cashier! Bigeye I said that's ok, I'll just get something on my way home! laugh out loud All went well after that!

I think today the realization hit that we are a one income family as of Monday! I was crankier than hell and freaking out trying to figure out better and better deals to get free necessities! I did get all of my groceries for free last night b/c I paid with gc's I got for a rx transfer that also gave me $1 off per gallon of gas. But now I have no gc's and only $5 in cats for the next trip...but then I got to thinking what if I wasn't this awesome couponer? Teehee We would really be SOL!
