This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Same here! I even have backpacks from last year's clearance. Oddly enough, our store had Reebox backpacks for under $2-kind of like the sippy price mistake. I bought five and plan to fill and donate them to ds's school. They are pretty low income there and need all the help they can get. nod
I remember one year TCP outlet was having thier normal clear house sale...I happened upon a wall of backpacks that were marked down super low then had a sign for and additional 40% off plus had a 15% off Q with me...I started a frenzy once all the women noticed I was buying 40 of them. They each came to .89c - $1.48 ac....we filled them w/ a kinds of goodies and toys and brought them to the local homeless shelter on xmas eve...It was one of the best feelings I had ever had and we didnt even get to see the kids get them, just the way the staff was so excited about it.

I know right, but I have 4 very unwilling kids to drag with me...Gma decided to go on a last minute vaca so no sitter available. Sadwalk
I hear ya. DH is out of town until late tonight so I have no reinforcements. I might try to con DS into a trip to T after his nap. He always wants to look up and down the toy aisles when we go, which is fine with me during this time of year.

My sister just emailed me my nephew's supply list for Kindergarten and I was able to pull everything from my stash except for a backpack. She's going to be so excited when I drop it all off this afternoon. Yeah for SDs!!!
I think CVS has a backback deal going on - sweeter if you get an RC This week and use it in a week or 2 when they are bogo. I'm not doing the deal, so not sure on specifics, but just tossing it out there Smilie

IIRC I bought one at $14.99. I had a $1 target coupon, a $5 printable, and a free refill wyb. So it came out to like $8.99ish after q's for that and a refill.

i am headed there today so I can pricecheck Smilie

im bored...did anyone see this post at TBR

It's a completely different story when people use the coupons CORRECTLY. But most of the time when people have a handful of coupons, they're using them for the wrong sized items, or the wrong items completely. We limited our coupons like that because we had so many issues with guests thinking they could use any coupon for anything in that name brand, not just what it's supposed to be. For example, many Target online coupons say what brand and item, but they don't specify a size. So people come in and get the trial size when they're supposed to be getting what's pictured. Therefore, I made it so they had to get what's pictured or they couldn't use the coupon. If you really want to get technical, if the coupon says TARGET WEB COUPON you don't even have to accept it, per policy. But many people, including myself, have accepted these just to shut the guest up. This is what pisses me off about coupons... to the point that I wish coupons couldn't be used anymore. Period.
wonder what policy s/hes looking at lol
