This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

This is the only place I still shop, because it's my favorite. Two steak dinners weren't cheap. Definitely one of those Doh moments. I think I should take a bargain break until all the dust settles, my mind obviously isn't on it laugh out loud
Comfort

My body made me taking a bargain break for a good month. I feel so behind and Cold to do a run. Gotta pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again.

Oh and BTW, the Huggies Pull ups are $9.99 at T. The Pamper were $9.xx (depending on the store I've seen them from $9.69 - $9.99). HTH

I guess I am going to have to save up and have it done.. that or just pray DH gets a nice settlement from his car accident!
How was your cruise?!!! bounce

If your store beeps for 992, this will beep. The cashier I had today did K1 it. I gave that coupon last because I suspected it would.
Regardless of the 992 it will beep unless the coupon barcode and the product family code match and the milk is over the coupon amount. Now the likelihood of the barcodes matching are slim to none. Teehee

Oh yeah and just so you know, they are tiny! I mean, the whole entire coupon is about 1-1/2" x 2"!! Can't imagine how this barcode will scan - but we'll see... it's perfectly legit!

Thanks. I was wondering about that after some people reported that it worked with no beeps at some stores. Maybe they didn't notice?

Hope you are having a better day. hug

lol people that are stupid and volunteer for mass events like employee picnics make cookies at 3 am....my cupcake count was at 50...caitlin just helped make it 48. She has managed to get two of them without me knowing....i have crumbs for evidence. But hey at least she isn't eating boogers anymore lol. I told her to eat a yogurt...how she got cupcake out of a yogurt no idea.

The problem with the tattoo is I never see it. Dh could prob. tell you what it looks like better than I can lol.

I tried eating Taco Bell right after I got mine done...I was like pfftt this isn't that bad, I don't know what everyone is talking about...and then I woke up the next morning lol. I really only got the other two done b/c my bf was a piercer and he told me I couldn't handle getting it done...I did one and I said ok! I'm done lol. I didn't get the other one done until I was really really drunk....not such a good plan!
Maybe she thought a yogurt and cupcake were the same thing Dontknow Or maybe she was just being her cute self and decided that a cupcake was better than a yogurt laugh out loud

Teehee about the piercings Roll

Quote from bblueskye :
I'm totally enjoying hearing about everyone's tats and piercings! I'm a plain jane girl no tats and only piercings are in my ears. I don't even wear earrings anymore because my kids are still young enough to want to tug on them. Closest thing I've had done is laser hair removal, but the only similarity to a tattoo is that it hurts :lol :
See I am scared of the laser hair removal!! EEK!

What part of San Diego? I'm in North County and all for meeting another SD'er IRL. I've met coupon queen, Mattman & Arj...all awesome people IRL!
I am staying in Clairmont but you know, its all the same Wink I am getting there tomorrow evening and will prob go right to bed laugh out loud I leave on Sunday evening, and so far only have plans for Friday (Zoo, know any stellar deals???) and Sat (cook out at the bay/beach). I would be up to meeting, though I would prob have to ditch my hubby though....

Just a heads up - if you have the Fisher Price Kid Tough DVD player packed away for a holiday or something, you might want to haul it out and make sure it works fine. My daughter had hers for only about 6 months, and it quit working. And I was just told by a Fisher Price customer service rep that those have been discontinued and they will not be making them anymore. I have no idea if that means they will honor a warranty on them or not later on down the line, but I'd hate for someone here to pull this thing out at Christmas, have it not work - and Fisher Price tell you "too bad, we stopped making those things a year ago" or something along those lines. That would be the suck. :nod :
Dang, I am glad you said this!!! Soph's broke too! I didn't even think about calling! What are they doing to "fix it" and what did you have to do for it? TIA heart I am gonna call too!

Quote from .teri. :
I did have one bright moment today :lol : I bought some "new furniture" at a great price. The pics are kind of misleading, they are both the same color. But these are staging furniture taken out of a high end house that was on the market. I think I got a great deal at 425.00 for the set for custom made furniture. Now, I'll sell the loveseat for 400.00 and will have bought the sofa for 25.00 :whee : (kind of makes up for the steak dinner :coverlaf Smilie

Mine stopped working after a few months of barely being used by my son also!

Does anyone know of any good 44000 items that are just over $3 and just over $4 AND have long barcodes?
I am at work today eating a 6 pack of Oreos and I look and see that they have a regular barcode, but they put a short one on the full size package?!?

Morning everyoneWave

I am dragging today. DD didn't go to sleep until close to 1 am.. and then decided she wanted to get up at 6. If I didn't love those sweet little cheeks so much, I would be angry.
Here's hoping she takes a nice long nap today for mommyhug

I gotta make some serious shopping runs today. I have a ton of coupons to use up. So sad that I found a stack of the kraft mac and cheese last night and they expired yesterday. Today the family is our own reward coupons expire.. gotta find a place to put those to good use.. And I have alot of p&g to use this week too. Maybe a nap will restore my energy and I will head outCool

I love your new avi! Your DD is very cute Smilie

I've got a ton of 7/31s that I need to get through as well. I've been sick as a dog this week though, so not much energy for shopping. Good luck to everyone in getting through their 7/31s in the next few days! Smilie

Are you looking for something at Target or anywhere? I love the Nabisco Social Tea Biscuits, buy them at Giant. I think they are $4.50 ish?

At Target, large boxes of Wheat Thins, the Nabisco multipacks.
