I had an older lady behind me at checkout that was lecturing me on how to get coupons from the companies themselves instead of printing them off of the internet because it's too expensive to print them versus having them mail you the coupons. This was after my stellar second run.

Someone said they were in the greeting card area. I haven't found them yet. I have also been checking by the electronics area and also by toys...ya never know!
Got turned down on using the cranium coupons on hullabaloo tonight. The bar codes don't match and beeped. I tried arguing that is was a cranium game, but no luck. He told me it must be for another game. I got them anyway with the TQ and they will make great gifts for someone.
Other that stopping by one store looking for clearance, I just relaxed with the family today. Seems like since the 7/31 qs expired, I don't have much reason to go.. or atleast none I can find yet.
Kinda bummed at myself, I bought glad b2g1 qs a few weeks back and can't find them now.. gotta keep looking..
Does the CVS CS department have access to information about recently past ECB deals?
And if so, could/would they confirm information like that with my store?
Here's the long story in case anyone wants to know:
I haven't CVSed for about 4 years but they just opened a few stores here two weeks ago, so I've been slowly getting back into it. The first week the stores were open was the week of the free photo books. Our ads showed the limit of 1 like everyone else's, but it was widely reported here that the limit was 5. So on Saturday afternoon, I went over there to try to make the books. I asked a bunch of questions before I started and it was clear the girl working behind the counter didn't know hardly anything, so finally I just got started. Only after I was about 2/3s done printing all the pages did she tell me that they didn't have any of the 6X8 covers. So there was a lot of back and forth of what to do, and finally it was decided that they would ring up 5X7 books, price modify them for me, and then print the ECBs manually. Then, they told me, I could come back when the covers came in and they would make them for me. I was very pleasantly surprised when they took my work about the "real" limit on the books being 5 and not 1 and printed me up 5 of the $8 ECBs.
So now it's 2 weeks later. I've been in there shopping several times since and asked about the covers each time; each time they say they still don't have them. Today, the photo worker and the Ass. Man. who originally did all this were working again, and when I asked about the covers, the Ass. Man (Yvette) told me that she had talked to her manager about this, that they had now decided that I was NOT entitled to more than one book and that basically I could suck it on the other 4. She strongly implied that I had lied/cheated them out of the other sets of ECBs and got really snippy with me really fast. Their position is that even though I paid cash + tax for the other four books, I got the ECBs for them, so it's a wash.
Meanwhile the photo worker is about to make the 1 book they've decided I'm entitled to when they realize, no they still have none of the 6 X 8 covers. Then Yvette says I can re-do all the books as 5 X 7 OR wait and get 1 6 X 8 books. I don't happen to have my photos with me (and I did have the baby with me who wasn't going to wait around while I re-did the books) so option 1 is out. So Yvette takes my name and number (REALLY didn't want to give them to her at this point) and says she'll call me when the covers come in.
So as upset as I am not to get the books, and to be out the tax I paid for them, really my concern is that this store just opened, it's the only one even sort of near by and they now think I'm a lying cheat there. I want to contact CVS CS and get this straightened out.
I'd like some advice as to what's the best way to go about this: call or email? Email would be much easier for me (the baby keeps me busy during working hours) + maybe I could get a written confirmation from them that I could take to the store. Anyway, CVS experts,
