This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

OMG, you too?!!?!? A friend invited me over for an afternoon without kids (yeah, that's always the bait, right??) for a free facial which ended up with me being given a popsicle stick with lotion on it to smear onto myself. 1 year of phone calls would ensue after this exchange. I called this lady the "Spider Monkey". She was loud, hyper, etc. laugh out loud The name spread like wildfire throughout my circle of friends as she stalked all of us. I literally had to write her a formal letter asking her to not contact me again nor setup appointments without my consent. what a nightmare!!!!
Our neighborhood MaryKay lady not only hounded me to buy MaryKay but she was also into the Amish bread and always calling to give me "starter". Thank goodness for caller ID. Even my son knew not to answer if her name showed up.

I've been offline for almost a week and dread catching up. So I think I won't. Never used most of my 7-31's but I don't really care, too busy with work and the baby. But am pissed that I didn't see the preview/get papers yesterday, there are some good q's in mine! 4 inserts with horizon, kelloggs, etc. Will have to make DH dumpster dive a lot in next couple of weeks!

I did get a couple of toys while I was traveling last week (8am on the dot before my Thurs meeting) but not too much as I had to carry them back. It was funny enough with the ones I had.

Hope everyone is well!
I got 4 inserts as well, but musta missed the Horizon q! Which one was that one in? Thanks.

laugh out loud Yes, these are really appetizers for cats. Teehee We got a couple of free samples of them in the mail. They are in clear plastic containers and my DH commented that they look like human food. They really do look like albacore tuna.
Hmmmm... almost like Sheba Casserole? Teehee

I have a carseat obsession and an un-natural amount of carseats (13). I am about to buy 2 more of the new Safety First complete air that just came out 40lb rear face limit and 27 inch tall shell! That makes me HAPPY!
Holy cow - 13 carseats!?! Now I thought I was a tad of a carseat nut, but you definitely have me beat. We RF'd until 2 years old here. Might have been able to hold out a bit longer, but we were pretty close to the 33 RF lb limit at that point. I'm glad to hear that they are coming out with convertible seats with higher and higher RF weight limits. Smilie

So they do make them but they are considered an accessory? I know Britax makes accessories (just not this one, I guess) and had the same question you did...are they tested safe? I wanted something thin that wouldn't compromise the fit of the buckles, kwim?
Britax doesn't make one, i know other companies do though. I just wouldn't trust using them. HTH

Yeah my oldest is 3 and it was the 33 limit when he was rearfacing, and then the new seat i bought my youngest was 35 lbs. It has slowly been creeping up, thank god! Now the Graco MyRide65, the Sunshine Kids Radians, and the Safety First complete air all go to 40 lbs RF. The Safety First seat will take a 50 percentile kid to 4 years rear facing! Both my kiddos are 90 percentile but they will have plenty of room...just gotta wait til i get a new car to make sure they will both fit RF. I prob had more than 13 seats now that i think about it!

Graco Snugride
Britax Marathon
Britax Decathlon x2
Britax Regent x4
Britax Roundabout x2
Sunshine Kids Radian 65 x2
Cosco Touriva
Cosco Scenera
Graco Nautilus

so 15...i still have one decathlon the nautilus and the 4 regents

We are taking our family vacation over Thanksgiving... not what I want, but with 2 in middle school and me in RN school, we can't miss much time. BUT airfare is killing me even if we fly in the Thursday before and fly home the Tuesday after. I can go out of Boston or NY for only $1041 for 6 of us on either Spirit or Jetblue (they are both within $10 of each other). Any suggestions??? We always fly Southwest out of PVD or BDL but the cheapest that way is $1400+

oh yeah...I.ve gone thru a truck load of carseats. I'm OCD and hate having non-matching carseats in my car. So every time we added a kid anyone left in a seat got a new one, any time someone upgraded from infant, to reg, to boostter. they all got new ones ---- I dont like the hyper expensive 'convertable' seats because they wear thru them before they even get to another stage. PLUS, it is supposed to last until 8 yrs 80lbs but if you get it for a newborn, the plactic will EXPIRE waaaaay b4 they even get that old IDK IMO

Yeah I gave some of them away before I moved in May and sold the rest over the last month, I didn't have room to keep them all anymore Frown It was a sad moment...

Yeah seats expire 6-8 years from manu date, those newborn-80lb seats are crap I wouldnt reccommend them to most people. I like the seats I have had because they harness to a higher weight limit. The regents I have now harness to 80lbs I doubt seriously either of my sons hits 80lbs before they outgrow them by height. They are both on the 2nd to bottom slots right now...i just really wanna turn them back rear facing because it is so much safer (they are 3 and almost 2 and both 33-35 lbs) hence why I am looking at more seats lol

He listed some things for Mini to do then said if I feel go I should go T (end of message). I thought OMG what a loving husband he wants me to go to T.
