This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Man, we have the Brittax Marathon and I am so happy with it. I think that DS who is 4 and a .25 still fits in it great. His weight is low, but he is super tall for his age.

When you guys are talking about rear facing for as long as possible, how long are you talking? Should I be feeling guilty?
I am keeping him in this seat for as long as possible even though DH wants to move him to a booster, like now!

I just think, the longer in this seat, the better. And he seems comfortable enough in it.

No - don't feel guilty! I would say that under 2 should be rear-facing and longer if your kiddo can stand it, he/she fits comfortably & safely, and the seat is designed for it Smilie I think it is safer with the little ones because their necks/backs/heads need extra protection - but as they grow they become more proportional in relation to their heads LOL I would just your best judgment - I am sure you are doing the right thing Smilie

Seriously, I'm ready for some smackdown. It helps reign the thread in a bit. The thread reaches new levels during toy clearance and Christmas and various hot deals through out the year. Lot's of peeps that are just there for a quick deal. Need to be reminded of the rules of the thread.

nod nod even us novice people know when to keep our mouths shut.

For those of you who are looking for a 5 point upwards from the Britax regent and such you may want to look into special needs carseats...these are a bit pricey though. My dd was evaluated for one and we are still in the wait mode to see if insurance will pay for it. They are made by Britax...or some of them are. This one is up to 105 lbs :

I wish the cute summer dresses would go away! Every time I step foot into Target, a cute (full price 24.99 Bigeye) summer dress calls my name and ruins my coupon run laugh out loud

where did yall find the clearenced kids suits/covers? I have been looking for new trunks for my boys and the only ones I found were in the infant/toddler section and like $7 on clearence...no thanks!

I gotta go get milk today....so TARGET RUN lol....i am trying to keep myself out to keep my money in check til the 15th...don't think I'll make it HAHAHAHA.

Thank you for everyones kind words about the surrogacy. I don't tell many people about it (hence why i changed my user name-if you typed my name into google all my posts came up) because of the negative things some people can say. I am a gestational carrier, so this is not going to be my bio baby. My transfer is in 2 weeks from today! So excited!

Oh Dec mama with the nautilus, try checking under the seats and see if the harness is hung on something, that seat has a long harness so you shouldn't be having problems with it! If you are call Graco they can prob send you a replacement

The swimwear clearance was in the girls section on the clearance racks. I dunno if the boys would have the same kind of clearances? HTH.

And, Wow! on the surrogacy! Big hug to you for doing this for others. It's an amazing thing to do. nod

I found one today also. I've been stalking it forever. It was 15% off yesterday and today DS and I ran in and checked it before our free movie. What do you know 50% off. It's the grey one and I really want the Hannah cover but whatever. If anyone got the girlie one and wants to just swap covers PM me. I'm pretty sure the cover can be crammed in a flat rate envelope.

Hi guys - I don't post often, but I've been reading all of the car seat talk. My kiddos are about to be 4 and are average size. I have them in convertible seats now, but was thinking of moving them to Sunshine Kids80. Is that the best one for them based on your opinions and experience?

Georgiasurro - Way to go on surrogacy! I know several people that have been helped by giving people like yourself!

Also, on the Targe Mobile site, the DPCI for the Britax seats doesn't come up for me at all.... only shows the online version where you can order it. What am I doing wrong?

The DPCI for the Britax has never worked for me. For either seat. I had to drag myself to multiple Ts to check for them.
