This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

made it home safe and sound. Had to travel through sooo much rain!

Hilarious the first thing I did when I got home is checked my mailbox. We have two here and both were slammed full and I had 3 boxes on the porch I have so much mail to go through today, sheesh!

My garden grew like a weed while I was gone! I had to harvest a ton of it this morning. Got 6 pounds of green beans, 3 of yellow wax, about 8pounds of tomatoes, 10 cucumbers, 30 okras, some corn and some onions. Now why could this have not grown before??

Hope everyone has a great day! It looks like Target and Publix threw up all over my house from the amount of bags I have everywhere! I hate unloading after a vacation, it just seems like there is so much to do! I just shoved it all in the spare bedroom, DD starts school on Monday and I will work on most of it then I suppose!

M2Cole- Have you contacted Britax? I think I would just to see what they say. They may even offer a voucher/coupon, although I would not say 100% for sure.

When will I learn - don't click the links??

So, other than a quick ink run the other day - I haven't been shopping. I did find a few of the coke TQ pamphlets, and they found a new home with me.

It's tax free weekend here. I'm tempted to go to the outlets, but I don't have any clothing coupons!

mama2cole - Glad you didn't have problems returning the car seat. Smilie

Once we bought the boys a large Nascar Slotcar racktrack from Santa - looked new in the box from Toys R Us. When they opened it a few days after Christmas we were SHOCKED! It was filled with really old, nasty parts of some random racetrack, rusted cars, and some old batteries. OMG We went straight to the store to return it and I was HOT. Would you believe they looked at me and my husband funny like we were trying to pull a fast one. We almost had a big blow-up, but they finally gave us a new one and I don't think I went back in that store for over a year. They seriously thought we were trying to return that old nasty track. I told her 'lady - I have never ever had anything that nasty in my house' laugh out loud

Wow. Santa must have been quite a slacker that year. Re-using toys like that. laugh out loud
I'm glad they were so cool about it. I was half ready for a fight but she was so nice and never once treated me like I was the one who perpetrated the crime.

Isn't it amazing how nice customer service/cashier vs. nasty can make such a big difference to you for the rest of the day? I had a guy at Meijer almost jump at me when he saw me scan a coupon at Meijer USCAN and it doubled (even though it said DND) - I didn't make it double but it make me mad for the rest of the day the way he talked to me. On another day I was at Walmart and saved a bunch of $$ using some higher value IP's and I was worried some snotty lady would give me a hard time - the young girl was SO NICE and said I saved so much money and asked me which site I printed them from. I just appreciate nice cashiers after I have had a few doozies laugh out loud

It's just nice to leave a store when someone has been so friendly or gone out of their way to take care of any problems you have heart

I apologize if you took offense to my post. I was merely observing the fact that many of the regulars and/or people who have been around a while did a good job over in the deals thread of cleaning it up. And I believe that T is for everyone... unless you're the asshat returning used carseats at my store. Then No T for you.

Which brings me to more important matters. Took the seat back today. Told her what had happened. Played a little dumb and told her I would like to exchange it. laugh out loud She of course said that they didn't have anymore. She called the 2 other stores in my area where there showed availability and neither of them could find it. (BIG surprise). CS was VERY VERY nice. Couldn't believe that someone did that and apologized that they didn't catch it. I asked if I could get the newer model at the clearanced price and she said no. If it had been just a sale she could have, but not for clearance. I pretty much left it at that and took the refund. Since I have the pics I may email CS, but I didn't want to make a huge stink since that is my only ST and I'm in there 2-3 times a week. After my refund she was putting a barcode sticker on the box and I stopped her and made sure that they weren't going to put it back on the shelves. She said no, that it would be salvaged.

I'm going to keep checking the store closest to me that still shows limited availability. I have a feeling it's there, just need to find it.
I'd check the stores that even say OOS... mine showed OOS but they had 2 so?

I looked all over mine just in case a Hannah showed up, but no luck Wink They did stick the seat I had found under the cribs by the high chairs. I just happened to remember exactly which box I was looking for, so I found it. Good luck M2C Wink

I'm having a girl. I would actually prefer the Hannah pattern but those are OOS everywhere here. The store near my mom down south shows availability so I might send her out looking tomorrow when she's off. If not there's always Jan/Feb baby clearance.
I;m sure it's been posted 300 times already but I'm too lazy to look - what's the DCPI for this and I'll look around here too.... I just want to find one for you - somewhere! laugh out loud
