This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Yea, it's gone down pretty steadily depending on the amount of stuff left... The first one, back in April we made $2200 in two days, then next one we made $1200 in one day, then we made $900 in one day and this one was $550... We're having one last sale on the 29th.

Urgh, apparently my mom might have a tumor on her pancreas. She's going for a CT this week to find out. As if the leukemia and diabetes weren't enough Sadwalk Any extra prayers would be appreciated…

For those that don't get an early edition paper, the RP has some great BOGO Purina coupons this week. I need to get more copies. Cool
I wondered about those (and the other BOGOs) - will have to run out and grab *a few*. Thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks. I've been reading and apparently if it turns out to be cancer, median survival from diagnosis is around 3 to 6 months and 5-year survival is less than 5%. So hopefully it's benign.

I am looking for 2 copies of each of the 2 highlited FFS rebates from kellogg's.

If anyone can help me out, I will be forever grateful. I have 2 addy's, and 4 1/2 kids --- so 8 rebates would be really nice to take advantage of !

Just wanted to let everyone know there are actually 4 different $10 "fuel for school" rebates.

1 - online form
2 - redplum 8/2 form
3 - form in various store circulars (Kmart and Shaws that I know of but I'm sure more)
4- coupon booklet in stores with "fuel for school" display

They all go to different P.O. boxes and I called this morning and got confirmation that you can do all 4 rebates.

Thanks for your kind thoughts guys. My dad told me that the doctor said it didn't look good on the first scan, so they ordered a new CT with contrast. She doesn't want to see us right now. I guess she is depressed. She's going to be 72 this October. I know, I should be positive. They told her in '97 that she had leukemia and had less than 4 years to live and she beat it. So here's to hoping doctors are wrong again.

I didn't realize we could do all 4, if we can find the forms. Thanks for the info!

So hoping that it is benign. Sounds like your mom already has plenty to deal with. And I totally agree with not reading ahead on the Internet. You can get yourself so worked up and until they do the CT and maybe more tests, you will not know. And your mom needs your positive energy right now. So try not to get ahead of yourself if you can avoid it.... I have been there and done that and in the long run it did no good at all. My dad had two horrible diagnoses and he died in June of a 3rd thing.
