This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Spike is priced the same as last yr $129.99..

I am assuming you are talking abt the jc penney cpn..There is a thread in hot deals where someone has posted a scan..YMMV if your stores accept it...
I will go and take a look - thanks! WOW that is EXPENSIVE for Spike - I am not sure my kiddos would use it enough ....... must think.

Hey - she and I have the same taste in presents Smilie LOL Oh very very cool that the lil one is due on your B-day! Are you doing a C-section with the PP? If so you prob can't actually have in on your B-day huh?

Hey guess what I got today......my first Target CAT.

It was prompted by buying the GM cereal cups. Save $2 wyb 5 GM Big G cereals

It's a manu Q that expires 10/6/09. It's clearly from target as it says Redeemable at (with a huge bullseye).
Will be interesting to see if we have issues using them elsewhere.

Also, Ziploc big bags and totes on TPC for 4.99 until 9/4, I think.
Is a Target Cat the same as those coupons that print out on the receipt paper? I have gotten a few of those but never anything I want LOL

A friend of mine just asked me to find a SD in slim fast. I see there are some Qs out there. Does anyone know how much the cans are at T? Not sure if she does the bars too, but I definitely remember seeing her drink the cans.

TIA
I know I saw Slimfast bars on clearance at CVS, just don't remember the price. Not sure about the drinks

I could have sworn that someone made mention of a 992 going through (beepless) for more than the price of an item (maybe it was that milk Q). I'm starting to think that 992s may be behaving like they do at other stores. Whatcha guys think?

Kids are a blessing, I know, I know, but somehow being in labor and giving birth on your birthday doesn't seem comparable to his birthday present. 100 days in a row of jedi-filled target shopping would be more like it LMAO LMAO LMAO

Quote from Sharon526 :
According to the TOS of Paypal, you waive your rights to credit card consumer protection laws if you want to use their service, and that you may not issue a chargeback for unauthorized use of your credit card and PayPal account, or if you do, then they have the right to limit your account.
Yes I have heard this more than once and from them, but you know what if they want to do that to me I won't shop or sell on ebay and I don't care and I have told them this more than once. Like I am going to be out the $400 for the $500 Home Depot one seller almost successfully scammed out of me in a elaborate plan to scam myself and 5 other people at the same time. That money took 45 days to get back, but I had the charge contested on my credit card after 20 days of nothing done by paypal, so I wouldn't have to pay it or owe interest. Or the $120 for the $180 Foot Locker card I never got and so forth and so on many gift cards over $200. I used to sell a lot on ebay and bought a lot more, and just got bored and sick of them.

I still buy the occasional item, but really don't mess with them much anymore. For all the claims that I have had and won you would think they would really try harder to get rid of some of the dishonest sellers, but I guess even they can't say when a good seller could turn bad. I have also had to deal with charge backs as a seller, but my items were usually $50 or less so delivery confirmation was enough. So when they said they didn't get it, I always had the needed proof that yes they did according to the Post Office.

Quote from Sharon526 :
This was about two years ago and I was much more naive then, so I didn't write down the gift card number before I sent it out. The person buying it claimed she was an older woman, but when I looked up the email address on myspace, it turned out to be some obnoxious college student in Texas. Bastard! Now I definitely know better.

I know what you mean. I was trusting to and got burned many times when I was younger, before I wised up to scam artists all over on ebay. Believe me I have dealt with not receiving the item to expensive designer fakes more than once.
