I had some but they didn't sell very well - I think I had them at $2 - I might have dropped them to $1 towards the end -

Thrifty ~ How did the NST go??

I just noticed them at my ST a few weeks ago. They are near the Healthy Choice fresh mixers on the pasta aisle.
Thanks again! That helps more than you know!

I just wanted to chime in with a really positive experience. I've had my kids ad a preschool/daycare since they were both about 4 months old. It has been an amazing experience for us. For me, I wasn't comfortable with home daycare settings - I wanted some oversight regarding who would be around my kids, etc. So I knew we would go with more of a "center." We checked out a bunch of places and found the most wonderful one. The kids get lots of love, healthy food served at school, and have learned so much - it amazes me. My 3 year old can write his name by himself and is starting to read and sound out small words. Both kids can independently clean up toys (although they don't always do it without asking), and so many other things. Our school really stresses "do unto others" and they've been amazing at finding creative solutions when we've had issues (i.e. biting). Oh, and they get to do amazing art projects that I would never do because they are too messy. And they have music classes every week, etc, etc. I know that nothing can replace time with Mommy or Daddy, but we have been really happy with our experience.

So try not to feel bad - it's hard at first, but daycare can be a wonderful experience for kids! hug

Wave everyone!

I'm not having a garage sale but I've already sold almost $200 of my swag between yesterday and today!!! Yahoo! I still have my table set up from last weekend and still have the totes out there with prices on them - so my neighbor came over and asked if I was "open" (Teehee) and I said, "sure"! He called a couple of his family members who came over and bought some diapers and other misc stuff - then my mailman stopped and bought $20 worth of stuff! When my neighbor's son left he asked if I'd be "open" next weekend and of course I said, "sure" - as long as my garage is open and I'm out here, stop by..... we'll see how long before I get sick of that... Although I can't leave all this stuff set up forever - I'll need to get my car back in there someday! I think I'll have another real one next weekend - we'll see.

laugh out loud Pags same thing here. I kuck out since it is Spanish speaking neighbors so my store manager (DH) handles it. He always says he's gonna tell them we have nothing left but always let's them in.

Mofo and everyone else selling today g/l!

NST was way stressful for me. LJ was kicking up a storm in the waiting room then they called me back 20 mis late. Hook up the fetal monitors and all he wants to do is sleep. I was hooked up the entire 40 mins and was afraid I'd have to do it over. U/S was ok. Good to see him again and she even pointed out he was practicing breathing. Amniotic fluid was within normal volume although it was on the low end of normal.

I have been pretty upset about my liver. My urine is really dark even though I'm only drinking water and tons of it. That is just another sign that it is not functioning properly.

DH did great on his own today--it was humid and over 90 degrees here so not many out shopping. He still made over $600 in just a few hours. I was pretty impressed. Unfortunately he came home with some bins still. Not sure what to do with them, I said I was done for the year and I am! 4 sales is enough.

But still---------

I left everything set up, brought in what's left of the candles (NOT MUCH Yahoo! sold the refills at 4/$1 b/c I wanted them G-O-N-E!). A mail lady stopped in and bought some stuff, she told me she might become my mail carrier. Great, now I can't give her the crap I give the other mail guy cause she knows my secret. Nah, who am I kidding? I still will!

So hot and humid here too...luckily my garage was cooler and I had my fan pointed at me the whole day.

My neighbor pointed out that I probably missed a lot of customers b/c we have a large Jewish population and therefore they wouldn't come on a Saturday. I do remember quite a few Jewish customers coming on Sunday last time. I may open up for a few hours tomorrow and maybe even keep it set up til next weekend and have a Thursday, Friday sale. We'll see how I feel.

By the way, Craigslist is awesome for advertising gs's! I had lots of people say they saw me there and look for me since my ads are distinctive. I also did an email sign up for the first time.

In the scheme of things, I really don't have *that* much left (at least according to a Targeteers standards), but I just don't want to carry it back in the house! laugh out loud

Thrifty, I hope once AJ arrives your liver goes back to normal or they can at least figure out wtf is going on! hug

Had a great small T run today. Got some bottled water, so we are ready for the storm come Thursday! Smilie Hopefully it'll vear off or just stay a TS. Pray I really like that Naked Juice B2G1 coupons (16)...DD is reaping the rewards by drinking the juices. She loves the Blue Machine one! nod Didn't have a chance to try the Purina BOGO's...anyone have any experience with them and wanna PM me? TIA!! hug

Picked up some TRIO's at KM today, too. Small selection, but got 4 boxes for $4.xx (tax included and the toys were priced higher than others are reporting). Pretty good deal for these toys. May do another run tomorrow and pick up a few more for gifts. DD liked the police station one. Did find some Beauty/Coupon books! woot Finally! There were only 4 left, so I took them. Big Grin

:headbang : why won't anyone buy my razors?? :annoyed : I have them at $3 each or 4/$10 and not a single one has sold! :annoyed : Turns out I'm competing with a freecycle event @ the park across the street! DH knew this and didn't tell me!!
On a positive note I have sold quite a bit of glade @ $1 each. The angels are whispering to my nose in here and it's making me want to :vomit :
I think I'd be happier out buying trios @ kmart! :lol :
Sorry about your sale not moving so fast! Mine was a good speed, but was interrupted by a Censored stupy cop!!! OMG What an @sshole! Anyways, he tried to make us stop selling, saying we needed a bus. license, that we were on city property, blah, blah, blah. I was like ok we will move across the street to my condo complex property. He was stilll saying no, that we needed a license and I was like, for a GS?!?!? No way! Then he wanted to see receipts for it all. I showed him, but he was still pissy and wanted to go sit in his car to "investigate" our receipts. So of course I got VERY MAD, was practically yelling at him (have I ever told you all about my problem with authority figures and my bad temper Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)) so I had to walk away and let J deal with it. Before I left he said that he could cite me and I said PLEASE DO!!! Doh One of the bad things from the surgery is I get VERY angry, very fast! It is getting better (I used to not be able to be around the kids when they were making a lot of noise bc it would upset me soo much) but I still have a lot of room to improve. Anyways, after I left J handled it calmly and we just moved across the street. It sucked over there bc there was no shade and it was over 90 out today!!! Faint BUT, all's well that ends well. We made about $800 today, and with last weeks sale, that brings us up to $1200 Yahoo! Here we come home improvements!! Groupwave

My K experience today:

Walking in I snagged my hand on a thorn bush they had for sale that was hanging over the edge Annoyed

I had a thorn sticking out of my hand and 3 big scratches - they hurt like heck (and still do!).

Friend I was with "Do you want to go wash them out in the bathroom here? Might want to so they don't become infected"

Me "Pretty sure going to the bathroom at K will only make it worse"

laugh out loud

Iagree We love our daycare too! I was lucky enough to find them when a co-worker of mine was telling me how much he loved his kids 'school'. He referred us and we have been there ever since. DD just LOVES it there. Ask everyone you know where they send their kids and ask them what the like AND dislike about the center/arrangement that they use. I also get peace of mind knowing that there are always at least 2 teachers/caregivers with any group of kids at all times. That way if 1 is getting stressed out (coz we know what our kids can do to a person's nerves laugh out loud) he/she can walk out of the room and gather their composure.

hug Are the docs saying they expect it to go back to normal once he is out? or do they seem concerned about it? When you said you were going for that NST I thought for sure you would have that baby tonight! That's what happened to me, went to docs office for NST...for like an hour...they didn't like the results, said they were sending me to the hosp....just to be monitored a while longer of course...ya right, 2 hours later I was being induced! Hadn't eaten the whole day and I was PIIIISSED that they wouldn't let me eat till after the baby came Mad That was a first time mommy mistake that I will never make again, next time we are making a stop at somebody's, anybody's drive thru before we hit the hospital nod
