I have heard that there was a display set up with these booklets in it, so no purchase required.

plgffl ~ my plan B would be to sell a few on e*bay and recoup some of the loss to buy her something else. You know between now and Christmas all of the must have toys will be rearing their expensive heads. Plus there may be more Target deals.
Funny Story: You guys know DS got his braces. Well I washed his sheets and threw them on his bed for him to put back on. (which he obviously didn't do)
He was wrestling and laughing with DH and ran into his room and jumped onto his bed laughing so hard. Then he went to get up....and realized his braces were stuck in a thread on the mattress
Well he was free and we removed the thread... and the muscles in our faces hurt so bad from laughing. He said "Sheesh, I see it all in slow motion again. I'm diving onto the bed and I go to get up and the bed yanks me back. Then I see something shiny and sharp out of the corner of my eye".
Moral~ when Mom says make the bed...make the damn bed!

I had a hammie when I was in 2nd grade. We got the brilliant idea to take him on a 'flight' in our Little Peoples Jet and it didn't end well. He ended up with a broken leg. We tried to 'set' it (we being a giggling group of 2nd grade girls who watched too many episodes of General Hospital) with a band-aid and a toothpick. He lived for a while after that, but we found him dead on my birthday. The party quickly turned into a funeral and we buried him out back with a full service.

Ha! we do it with Scrabble too. When the kids were little, they had those spelling Leap catepillers and we would try to make it say dirty words. He was smarter than us and would just "uh oh" instead
