This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

ETA: I know this is the Chit Chat thread and I just posted a lot of "deals" but as we've noticed, the climate over there has changed a bit. So hope you guys don't mind.
Ok, so I thought I missed the Nexxus dealio...is this valid through 8/31?

Had to run to T yesterday sans coupons for a wipes warmer and head support roll for the carseat. DH wanted to make a family outing, I said shake head baby is too little. First family outing was to mass last night. When we were putting LJ in the carseat the visiting priest stops by to talk to us. He asked if the baby was a vampire. I said not too bad so far but he is only a week old. Then the priest said benadryl and duct tape work well. Bigeye I told him silence is golden but duct tape is silver like my location. He Rolled but I was still a bit Cold by his initial comment.

Weird. Unsure I don't even think I understand what he was implying with that comment...especially the duct tape part? Is he saying to put it on the baby's mouth? EEK!
btw wipes warmers are not what they are cracked up to be. I found they dried the wipes out fairly quickly. But I see in the deals thread that you heart yours, so I guess it's just a matter of preference, as with everything else!

And nod the Nexxus deal is until 8/31.

Did someone mention Huggies being on sale this week?

wave Hi! I am a TCC newbie but I've known quite a few wonderful "TCCians" or "TCCers" here (Are those two the official words here?). I am a weekly Target shopper if I am good at getting my act together. Size 14 and 16 are way too big for me. I am always worried that I will end up losing my pants and shirts when a Target cashier sees through my oversized clothes. So, my 14 and 16 are always up for trade or for grab, if you are looking for those. Please feel free to PM me.

I rarely buy soda but I have a few Coke coupons that I think some of you can use.

(7) $1/1 off 8-pk, 12 oz. Coca-Cola Bottles Target coupons (exp 9/5/09)

(3) $1/1 on the combined purchase of 1 multi-pack bottles OR 2 2-liter bottles of participating Coco-Cola products AND any item $4.00 or more from the deli, produce, or meat departments MQ (exp 9/30/09) coded for Coke

(4) Free one 2-liter Coca-Cola product wyb any 2 Coca-Cola 2-liter proudcts (exp 8/31/09) - this is a 16 auto MQ.

Please PM me if you are interested for a trade.

He's a visiting priest from Camp Pendleton. He is from Boston and still has a super strong Bostonian accent. I guess his sense of humor is a little left of center. HIs homilies are good and he keeps ya engaged with bits of humor here and there. Glad his vocation was priesthood and not marriage and parenting. Roll

Baby slept like arse last night. Oh well, Friday and Sat were good nights. He would sleep 1-2 hours and wake up to nurse for 5 minutes and fall back asleep. Let's just say he was no happy from 3-5:30 when I made him wait for breakfast. Stinker took an awesome nap this morning, ate and is back asleep. Annoyed I guess I should get some laundry, dishes and packing done while he is quiet.

Just in case anyone wants to see the full setup for the Zhu Zhu pets, here is the link to the website [zhuzhupets.com].

Looks pretty cool!

My daughter came up to me today and told me she was asking Santa for this. Without reading this before I would have no idea what she was talking about, as I have yet to see the commercial. I signed up for swagbucks and hopefully will be able to get this for a good price for Christams.
