When I first got promoted at my old company, I met with the HR person and he gave me a list of "perquisites". One of the first things on the list was a zoo membership. In my prior job we were required to pay for certain things ourselves like to have at least a social membership at a country or dinner club. So I was thinking prerequisite and that the zoo had to be cheaper than what I had been paying for the country club thing. I read a little further down thinking this is really adding up, maybe I don't want to be promoted. Then I got to the size of the office. I suddenly realized they were giving me these things, not requiring me to pay for them. I actually started laughing and had to admit to the HR guy what a doofus I was.....

Lil J and I just got back from our first outing besides church this past weekend. I thought he was gonna scream his head off at guest services when the girl was combining all my gc's. She scanned them all then added them up manually and bought a new one with the balance. I have never seen it done quite this way. Thankfully LJ slept the entire time. She has rules with the phone/email use. She has unlimted texts, so she can go crazy, but I read ALL text msg and emails before she deletes them! ALL OF THEM!
Have you ever done that???? I did that to my oldest girl ... that and actually taking away clothes that she had for the umpteenth time shoved into her closet in wadded up balls on the floor (I warned her that if I found it again I was taking away the clothes that were not put in the proper places) let me assure you that I am not only the MEANEST person ever to live but I have RUINED her life. Yup yup yup ..... they grow up too fast!
And BTW, been there, done that with my DD. Still doesn't work!
Oh, and thanks to some advice from Sharon...Ryland has tried (without gagging) , a cheese slice, a chicken drumstick, mashed potatoes, and a hamburger.
