This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Y'all might know this already, but I didn't and thought it was cool...in the frozen section in the new store here, the lights in the freezer cases are motion activated. That section was empty today and as I walked down the back aisle, all the lights in the freezer cases popped on, one by one. It was neat. (It's the little things in life that make me smile Smilie)

I made the mistake of trying a kmart trip today. Didn't get much.. they finally restocked the trio toys.. got 4 of those, a couple of tag books, and a leapster game. I found a few of the 5/50 qs at the door. Got turned down on using it cause my pretax was only 49.xx.. no problem, I used the 5/25 toy q.. then she refused all my other qs for the FP stuff and the LF toys. said they couldn't take printables. She called the manager and she confirmed they only take printed coupons with the "kmart logo". I abandoned the cart at checkout..

Only positive note was this run down kmart had shiny new buggies.. not the old rusty ones they used to have. Wasted an hour of my day for nothingFrown
That's some BS especially with the signs/announcements everywhere about them taking IPs. Might be worth a call to corporate on that one.
And my SuperK got brand new carts too! It was great! Those old blue ones didn't have nearly enough room!

He's too cute! Thanks for sharing!

Wanted to report that the SB toothpaste TQ worked fine for me today. I got some Boost Kid Essentials strawberry for $4.98.
Found some good peelies on the Hilshire Farms lunch meat for $3/2. It is on sale for $2.99 so they beeped. Also found 50 peelies on the Kudos, so a good match with the $1 TQ.
Scoped out the frozen clearance and got Jose Ole chimichangas and taquitos for $2.74 minus recent $2 mq.

He is a doll! But he does look like a wiggler!

Glad you are seeing improving signs. Hopefully you will do blood work soon and prove it them....

Those freak me out EVERY TIME!

They have 'em at our SWM too, and it makes me feel like I'm walking into a haunted house for some bizarre reason.

School supplies were on clearance today, and so were a bunch of the trial items. I posted in deals thread what I could remember.

Wow, it really is true that sometimes I spend more time thinking about NOT doing something I need to than it takes to do it. I want to do the Kelloggs deal and my DH and DS like Eggo waffles and pancakes but I did not really have a spot in the freezer for them.

My garage refrigerator had a problem during the winter. We could not figure it out, the ice cream would be hard as a rock one day and almost soft serve the next few. Sears failed to tell us if the ambient temp was less than 45? degrees, the freezer part would not come on enough. So the things in there thawed and froze repeatedly. I felt bad throwing the food out but realized I was never going to serve it to anyone. So I just chunked everything except ice pops, bread, coffee and new things. I have plenty of room now. And it took me all of about 5 minutes. That is the big highlight of my day, I think. I am filling out the 30 forms that DS brought home for first week of school. There was a new one that insures your laptop, cell phone, ipod, and some other things for $30 a year. Very little info on the form so probably worthless once I check it out.

okay, Kmart talk but since we cross-post all the time, here goes laugh out loud

Today, I was finishing out my Trio Qs (hello! Rubbermaid bins of these things Evillaugh) and picked up a Tag book on clearance for filler. At the register, a $5 coupon on any Leap (regular or sale priced) Kmart store coupon Cat printed. Interesting? I had not heard of this. SO, $7 Tag book on sale, $4 PDF Leap coupon, $5 Kmart Toy Q (Transformers), 2 Trios 9.99 sized, and 2 MQ Trios.
All coupons worked together with no 'reward not met' crap.

9.99 x 3=29.97-$15 instantly=14.97-$15 MQ=.03 overage
+
7.00 clearanced Tag book-$4 PDF Tag book MQ=$3 (2.97 to be technical)
-
$5 Transformers Kmart toy coupon
------------------------------------------------
-2.03 (overage Evil)
You'll get back a $5 Tag book cat and that can be used with the above coupons for more overage. Rinsed and repeated today.....

edited math for the math wizards among us laugh out loud

oh, Tide Total care renewal rain (something like that laugh out loud) Bounce Lemon Chamomile, Dryell 6pk refills, etc. were 50% (Kmart)
