This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Pretty sucky. Here's to hoping I don't get selected! If I do, I hope I can get all my work done in a 4 day work week. I need to do a great job this year so I still have a job next year.

Just remember for the purposes of your interview-you believe in the death penalty, you think government employees get paid too much and Lorena Bobbit is your hero. That should get you off pretty quickly.

Hahaha. Or I could go the other way and say, "I hate humanity. I believe everyone is guilty until proven innocent."

Or go in talking to yourself. Every time they ask you a question, answer it and then explain it to "your friend mary" what they were asking and why! Then say that one of your personalities is feeling a little violent today! That outta turn some heads and get you out right quick!!!

Faking mental illness ftw Whee

I've never been on a jury after I say I fully believe in capital punishment and that anything that someone did (torture, murder, rape, etc) should have to be done to the one who did it. Somehow the defense ALWAYS lets me go.

Just to let everyone know. I have made it to Week two for training classes. No giggling there is six weeks of highly stressful classes. I didn't know if I should vomit or eat all before doing this week's lessons. I at least scored a 100% of the speed quiz. How fast you can add the numbers. I never really knew that there is alot to know and do while being a dealer. The job looks so easy. A note about comfy shoes. I already figured that out at Penney's wear comfy ones. So I will use my handy employee discount there for new shoes.

Also, if you didn't use up your 10/10 or 10/25 coupons that expired last Saturday use them up my tomorrow. Most stores will take them expired. My job there is to make the customer happy! I am.

My ear mold is done. I will be picking it up on Monday AFTER class. So that is good news.

Just poking my head in - we're on vacation in the mountains for a long weekend. We're exactly 8 targets from home Teehee And, to my credit, I didn't stop at a single one on the way up here (although I really wanted to Wink ). I was wagging my sad tail off before leaving because I have a ton of RRs that are expiring this weekend. I tried my hardest, but just couldn't get through them. When packing the car, I intentionally left all my Qs at home. So we get up here and what do I see in town??? Big K and CVS. Thankfully they don't have a T or wags otherwise I'd 1.) be pissed off at myself for not bringing my Qs and 2.) would run the risk of spending my time up here shopping. Embarrassment

I was totally with you on that one! Don't come in here!!!!!!

Y'all might know this already, but I didn't and thought it was cool...in the frozen section in the new store here, the lights in the freezer cases are motion activated. That section was empty today and as I walked down the back aisle, all the lights in the freezer cases popped on, one by one. It was neat. (It's the little things in life that make me smile Smilie)
That sounds very cool - I think I'd have to visit that aisle a few times, just for kicks!

4. My personal favorite - I always let him hold a toy in the basket while we walk around and then I have him put it back somewhere near the front before we check out. Today when I told him he needed to find a spot on the shelf to put his toy he promptly went to a chip display, placed the toy phone at the back, positioned the chips to they looked straight and then said "that way no one will find it".
Rofl2 Cole is a smart boy!

kopenney, congrats on making it to week 2!

mama2cole, that is so cute!

Is it bad if I don't want to do the treasure hunt for the house party because I want to keep the magic wand?Stick Out Tongue Between that, tomorrow (today) is our anniversary, and we are taking the kids to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for two days, I don't know if I will be online much until Tuesday. I'm plotting how close we will be to Target there, and what coupons I should have printed out at the ready should we go in. LMAO

A few weeks ago I posted my coupon box got taken from my cart in the K-mart parking lot, when I forgot about it and left. Well sadly my coupon box never turned up.

You are not going to believe this, but considering this Kmart is in a bad part of its town, maybe it is not surprising. Tonight I was back in this K-mart with DH to use up some of the $5 off coupons we got during the last doubles. We separated each with our own cart. I found some clearance shirts, some socks and one pair of ladies Joe boxer clearance woman's panties (cute white with pink strips and a blue smiley face). Last pair of panties like this and I had to search for 20 minutes through messes of crap and clothes everywhere to find them.

So I go to the dressing room to try on my shirts, leaving the socks and panties in my cart. I come out maybe 5 minutes later and someone took the panties out of my cart. I was thinking what the heck, and I asked someone working in the department by the dressing room if they had taken my panties and put them back or something. But of course she didn't and didn't have a clue what happened. I was kinda miffed because I spent time looking for the panties, but figured oh well it wasn't meant to be, no biggie.

Then I find my DH and tell him I have most of the $5 coupons spent, but someone took my clearance panties from my cart, so I need to find something else in place. This next part is what you will not believe. My husband tells me that he had a boxed wallet in his cart, and went up around the service desk waiting for me. He stepped away from the cart to look at some things nearby for just a few minutes. He said when he came back to the cart, he found the wallet box empty where someone had not only pulled the wallet out, but had broke the plastic seal to get it out. WTF, right at the front of the store. I asked was that the last wallet and he said no, but he's sure someone stole it, by the way they ripped it out of the package.

Oh but that's not all. Finally we get up to the checkout, and low and behold what do I see placed randomly by the candy? I see the panties I searched for what seemed like hours along with 2 other clearanced panties. So someone had taken the clearanced panties out of my cart, put it in theirs and got to the checkout and decided not even to buy them. I am sorry, but some people are so Flickin Ignorant I can't believe it. Who would take clearanced panties out of what is obviously someone who is in the dressing rooms cart and then not even buy them after all. They may as well have five figured them like they did the wallet.

I only go to this K-mart because we don't have many around, and they have some things the other stores don't have. But I guess when I go back I have to glue my purse, coupon box and cart to my right hip if I don't want anything to end up mia!

Nope I didn't get them, I was po'ed. I told the cashier what happened and handed her the panties and said and I don't want them anymore. Plus I already had gotten chips as a replacement for the pantie cost. I just can't believe people think it is just fine and dandy to go shopping and shop lifting from people's carts right in the store. On the wallet, were they thinking oh this cart is up by customer service, so it is fair game? Did they think if it was a return or something it wasn't like stealing. Ah don't they think that there are camera's by customer service? Ballsy if you ask me!
