I found a nice freebie today. I had printed some of the $3/1 Glade from redplum and thought the cheapest would be the small 2 oz candle for around 2.97. I found today that Wallyworld has most the 4.9 oz. scents on a price roll back of $3 bounce (regular price is 5.77). No beeps - free candle.

I've never tried them but a friend of mine swears by them. She loves, loves, loves them. I went straight into my big fat maternity clothes. More room for free ice cream!

I didn't use the Bella Band brand but the kind from motherhood, I LOVED them! They were great until my hips spread and I couldn't get my jeans over them Mad
Much cheaper than maternity pants for sure!
Thanks guys. Gonna check it out I think. I'm not ready for maternity pants by any means, but I guess since its my 2nd, the belly pouch has popped a little sooner than usual.
I can't belive today is the 31st. You guys would disown me if you saw the amount of Qs expiring in my book today.

shake head Nah, you are not the only one with expiring q's... Sadwalk I just could not summon up the energy to do a ST/T run today (or even a KM run!) using the q's.

I did, however, luck out on getting the Britax Marathon that was on clearance about a month ago for $69.xx! woot It had been sitting at this one T for the past two weeks at $139.xx (which is what I bought it at) and so today while swinging in to T for a quickie, I noticed they were marking down children's clothing. So, I put the Britax into the cart and brought it over to this nice little old lady and asked her if by any chance was this carseat going to be marked down further? She scanned it and it told her to salvage it, but she overrode it and printed out a new sticker and reduced it for me! bounce She was so sweet, I thanked her profusely! Coverlaugh

Ok, so a question...I used my CC to purchase the other one about 3 weeks ago for $139.xx. And would like to return this one with that receipt, but am wondering if I'm going to get credit back on my CC or will they give me $$? I've already paid my bill in full, and it would be a credit balance on my CC... Thanks for any input you guys have!

You are a lucky ducky with that careseat! You can return it and it will just be a credit on your CC statement next month. Have you thought about selling it on craigslist though? You could probably get at least $190-$200 for it. I know some areas don't do well with CL, but if you can re-sell it, you could end up recovering extra $$ that would make the seat you got today almost free Big Grin

They usually refund by the original method of purchase, so the $$ would go back on a CC. You may can ask for a refund via GC? Nothing wrong with having a credit balance...I usually do away with it pretty quickly during a good shoe sale Coverlaugh

Well, haven't been shopping for a few days. Not planning any amazing runs - short on q's and cash - and gift cards. *sigh* Throw a few car breakdowns, medical bills, and a birthday at someone and everything goes *poof*!

Hope ya'll are having fun.

I bought some clothing for DD that was not on sale and did not fit her. I then bought some more when they went on sale the following week since she was with me. When I returned the non-sale items (used a CC also) they rang up as the non sale price and that is what I was refunded as. This was just two weekends ago when I did this. Last time I ever NOT bring DD shopping with me...

I went to WIC today to sign up for it & thru the process was told the funniest thing I have ever heard.

1st you have to see me to understand...pre-preggers I am 5'9'' and 111lbs, if you picture Olive Oil from the Popeye Cartoons, that is me. I am bean pole skinny - have been my whole life.

Now they did my weight and height and iron levels etcs, went in to see the Nutritionist and she 'charted' me on the graph for pregnancies. She told me.........

"Hum, You are a bit OVERWEIGHT"

I never, in my whole life, ever, thought someone would tell me that.... She claims technically that for my height, prepreg weight and gestation that I am 6 pounds overweight. Granted I am at 147.8lbs now and I am 33 weeks today, that is a gain of 36 pounds - more than a pound a week!

Me now at 33 weeks & overweight laugh out loud ...

Some of the weight has gone to some places it has never been before like my boobs (that black shirt doesn't do them justice), butt and hips which I've never had, so it's not a totally bad thing Stick Out Tongue laugh out loud

Oh, and .teri., I found Sparky II. Luckily I only had one kid with me and he was passed out on my shoulder. Dh thinks Sparky II got into some exterminator poison spray residue under the appliances cause he was belly up and running his little leggies like he was on a four pedaled bicycle. I was so freaked out I called my DH screaming and then had to call my MIL to come 'assist' Sparky II to the other side. eww...yuck, no more small pets for a while.
