Oh! I forgot that I found Hallmark wrapping paper and bags marked 70 on clearance. The tags said Original price $1.00, 30% off for 70! That can't be right! But I bought a bunch! They had Star Wars, Speed Racer and Disney Princess paper and Baby Einstein and Wall-E bags. I think they also had HSM or something like that bags. I stocked up!
Yeah I found that endcap when they were $1 and stocked up. That was a great price you got for some really nice and good sized bags.
Only found it at one store, but man would like to find them again on clearance.

That's amazing for such a young baby. You must have some very sustaining milk. You should market it laugh out loud

Hope all goes well at your appointment, so you can have that Guiness and relax a bit!

Reporting back from a lunchtime run..
Chef Michael's is TPC $9.49 til 10/26! Yahoo!
Current TQ expires 9/26 though, but I have seen some insert TQs on ebay ($1 off and bogo cans) that expire 12/30. Anyone know what week those came out?

All of my TQs rang up as Store Coupon $0.00 Huh but showed up on my receipt as the right amount.

My cashier was not the one I originally chose, but I was directed to her. She was angry that her scanner gun wasn't working (kept banging it on the table) and saying "you went to all the trouble to get these coupons together, you better get to use them!" So that was a nice surprise!

Some Ziploc bags TPC for $1.99.

Summer stuff (speedo vests, goggles, pools) was 75% off.

Yeah that is what I think - I brought it up with my son's father and he told me not to make waves or say anything as it was the 1st day of school ..... so I have been fuming ever since. I think I am going to talk to the teacher politely about today - and if it ever happens again I am going to have words with the stupid Principal who already has issues with me so I can't make it worse! Herrrumph! LOL
Dude, I would sooo be making waves. That's really unacceptable. JMO

This is what I would do..I would bring it up in a conversation to her like "Whew, what a scare yesterday" or something like that. Bring it up very innocently and see how she reacts. Then choose your course of action.
I think that is a very good idea - because I am still mad about it today! Course they will prob be all mad because there is some rule about you can't bring a stroller into the school - but I will HAVE to take the stroller into the school with the girls in it - can't carry both and carry on a serious convo AND I am not leaving my stroller outside! But thank you for the suggestion!

... but I do hate having any underthings rung up by a guy. Unfortunately, even in department stores, that can be somewhat unavoidable at times. Blush

I was on Reglan for a while - I did not like it at all. I had very bad reactions to it. Frown The side effects are scary too!

Before you know it, you won't be able to bring lollipops and fruit snacks - either the HFC's, dyes, or sugar will be prohibited!

How old is your son? ... Even if they are standing open, it should be extremely obvious when a child leaves the room!

As for the wandering the halls unnoticed part - I'm thinking that may be more common than parents realize. And how did he sit on the curb unnoticed for so long?
LOL - my oldest dd HATES to have undergarments rung up by a chap (even though - no offense to anyone the chap at VS is light-up-the-night flaming and is such a sweet funny chap he prob buys stuff there too!) and she turns bright red when I buy her stuff from Target if there is a chap at the checkout! I told her maybe you get to a point where you are too old/too many kids/too tired I just don't care. LOL

I had CRAZY BAD PPD when taking the Reglan but I don't know if all of it can be blamed on the Reglan or whether it was in part my depression? Never had it so bad with any of the other kiddos (never tried Reglan again!)

All of the classrooms have doors - some sit open and some do not - the reason that I commented on the hall is that his classroom happens to be all the way at the end of it - meaning that when you look straight out their classroom door it looks all the way down the hall to the exit doors .... so they had a LONG time to notice him walking away from the classroom. He is 5 and SUPER literal! He LOVES superheroes and when he wears one of his superhero T-shirts often some good natured adult will say "Oh I see Superman" and James Robert will look at them as if they are balmy and say "No, I am James Robert I am wearing a Superman shirt."laugh out loud Same thing when he was in a play and was a tree - he was "James Robert dressed up as a tree"

I am going to go in and talk to the teacher today when I walk there and pick him up with the girlies. I will let you know how it goes!

Oh and no offense at all to anyone who has allergies/kiddo has allergies (I have allergies myself) but I think that the school response to allergens has become ridiculous! They put up signs about how they are an "Allergen-Free School" excuse me??? Did they get rid of all dust, mold, mildew, wheat, milk, eggs, dyes, paint, cleaning supplies, perfume, plants, pets ........... etc? Of course not! I don't understand the treat thing - it is just crazy! One of my best friend's kiddos is very allergic to peanuts and from the beginning she just taught him not to eat treats others brought (he always brought his own personal snack & lunch) and so it did not interfere with other kiddos snacks. I think this is stupid!

Day 2 of no problems at drop off (with Daddy doing drop off). knock on wood! He got a certificate for good behavior yesterday, so I hope this is the upswing. .... I want to know why only one style of the patio furniture covers is on clearance...the one I need is full price! Annoyed
YEAH YEAH YEAH - on the Day 2 and the Certificate! WTG!! Here's rooting for more good days! Thanks for the tip on the Glade - gotta go and look for the mag. Oh and it is the same reason that NO toys here ever make it past 30% off max ---- cause someone thinks it is funny to mess with us! ROFL

When I came back into the room, the baby looked like she was ready to play commando. She has orange and green splotches COVERING her WHOLE face. To top it all off, she even colored over the giant goose egg she got from smashing her head into the neighbor's stone steps yesterday - so I'm terrified to try to wash it off because I'm *sure* it's sore!

She looks up at me with this HUGE beaming smile and says while nodding, "I cuh-lore... Elno's priiitttyyy...."

(Elno is how she says her name)

shake head *Sigh*

ETA:

Who's shopping tomorrow? I'm trying to gear up today so I can do a ST/T run(s), and a bunch of Wags runs (rolling RR's, I hope!) Maybe we can all band together to send out windshield wishes and victory vibes. What are ya'll planning on getting? I really need regular groceries (milk, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, veggies, stuff for cheesecake) - so that's the ultimate goal on top of the rolling.
Awww - she is related to my Miss M I think! The eternal artist ... and I guess there is nothing better than a moving living canvas such as herself! I love times like that - get a pic those moments ROCK!!! What is her name? I love it when kiddos say names - Miss M calls her big brother Bobb Bert - his name is James Robert. LOL

I need to shop tomorrow - the girls better be agreeable! LOL I need Vinegar, Bleach, mold cleaner, the basics, COFFEE lol and will try to do some Wags - I had coupons for last week that I never got to use Frown SIGH! I will send SUPER windshield thoughts!!!!

Mofo - THANKS for the tip on the Glade, Chef M, & the gift bags ... will have to look for those!!! Cool cashier & WEIRD TQ thing!!!

Thrifty - hope that everything goes WELL! Congrats on LJ's night!!! WHOO HOOO! Sorry he is having a rough morning! HUGS & POSITIVE thoughts!!

Just got home and got baby down. Called DH and my mom and Weeping for a bit. The doc's initial diagnosis was acute cholecystitis, which I don't understand since I had my gallbladder out 14 years ago. More blood work to see where I am at now. He asked if we want more children. nod At least one more so we don't have another only child. His initial recommendation was no more pregnancies. Crying2 Hard to hear. He'll talk to me next week when all of the tests are back and we'll go from there.

Tests results are already coming back in...everything is back in the normal range. Here are my ALT & AST levels, which we were watching skyrocket!

So the liver issues are definitely related to the pregnancy. I am still sad Weeping

Very weird. The doc knows you had the gallbladder out, right?? Could it have been "acute cholangitis" instead? Or, did you just happen to regrow a gall bladder!!

Guiness would definitely put me over the Crying2 top!

When I was talking to my mom she said she was suppose to stop having babies after my baby sister (#5) but she had baby brother (#6) which pretty much was the cause of her prolapsed uterus years later. She said that even though she was beyond child bearing years the hardest thing she dealt with was her hysterectomy since it made it a permanent decision for her. She also said if I am supposed to have another one, God will let me know.

DH is happy that I am healthy and that I don't have an ongoing liver condition that would require future testing and treatment. I suppose I need to focus on this. DH said we can get a second opinion re: more babies in the future.
