Ok - you are Grad students & parents to 7 in 7 so it goes without saying that there is stress --- is he under an unusual amount right now? That can send BP way up --- what about caffeine intake? That can also drive it up .... then there are various meds/supplements/foods etc which can exacerbate the prob ... Man I hope they get back to him soon! Having super high BP (in addition to be bad for you) can give you one god awful headache!!!!
Did you grow out of the murmur? I think my GP's were hoping my Dad would grow out of his --- never did. He has always had to take care of his health - but his has always required meds ... they have changed over the 75+ years he has been alive but he has always had to take his meds. I remember being on vacation down in Cornwall and my Dad realized he had left his meds back SEVERAL hours on the M1 at home in Coventry --- he went into a druggist and was able to explain the situation ---- and was able to get enough meds to get him through the weekend (it was of course Friday after 5pm) until Mon when the doc could call in a prescription down there. Those memories from childhood that stick eh?

Good Vibes to everyone, on babies, job hunting, heart murmors (must take care of yourself, my ex didn't grow out of his, drank and smoked too much) and passed away in Dec at age 50 from heart failure due to his murmor they said (and his not taking care of himself)

Had a couple of good runs in while I'm down, tonight found some of the single fusions on for $2.24 so grabbed 9 of them used 2/1 mfq (have no idea where it came from) and those $4 TQ was on them and the cashier peeled them all off and started to scan them and wondered why they beeped... I didn't say a word, she K1ed, only thing was that I had to hold back Q's cause I didn't want to go too low oop.
Also did a KM run, I'm not sure what happened there, but it was a STC get the HECK out of here run... I had figured oop would be $20 or so, had a pair of runners for my GD in there. Cashier was wonderful, she looks at the screen and says do you want me to continue with the last 3 coupons - I said of course why not? She said well your total so far is .17 cents.
She said you just made my day!! I was like WTF happened. The guy behind me asks, do you have any coupons for me to use.. I looked at his flatbed cart, he had some kind of bookcase on it, I asked him, is that over $100, he said yup, I said have a nice day and gave him a $10/100.
He was shocked I had one, and thanked me, I just told him to have a nice night. He met up with me in the parking lot and then said, are you on SD?
He said him and his wife used to go on this site called SD and they did great with coupons but had stopped for the last couple of years.. Told me though after watching what I just "scored" was his words, he's telling his wife they are going back on SD...

Yeah for you and SD - LOL!! Yesterday I was shopping with a friend and after she checked out she had a little bit of a different experience. Some woman grabbed her arm as she walked out of the store and said "I saw what you did - I was in the cafe and watched your total go from over $300 down to less than $100 and you need to tell me how you did that". My friend is like, WTF?? She didn't know if she was security or what so she just said she spends a lot of time watching sales and clipping coupons.
