I bought it at the last sale on amazon. Nice machine. My only dislike is the sound. Sounds slightly like a speaker in a can. Kind of echo-like in a tightly enclosed space.

But it is built well, looks very solid. Convenient to carry around. Good battery, can even work as a battery bank charging your other electrons from its own battery.. Will get very loud without distortions. Can work as a speakerphone, people calling me told me that I come through very well. Can also work as 2 units together, kind of left/right channel. Can do a full EQ with its branded app on your phone.

So your only complaint about a speaker is the sound? Kinda like "my only complaint about that doctor is they killed the patient."

It is strong enough. Punchy.

It is more like a complaint about a reliable car that doesn't have a good comfy interior but plastic paneling and uncomfortably small seats. As in, doable but I expected more for the price.

This is a great speaker, I bought from Walmart during Black Friday for $50. Very impressed with the sound quality.

I have the Motion+ and the Boom and agree that the sound quality is lacking compared to better BT Speakers like the JBL Charge series or even even a UE Mega Boom. That said, this is a decent BT speaker for the price if you're not a sound quality freak. To my ears, the Motion+ sounds a tiny bit better than the Motion Boom.

JBL Charge is IPX6 and Anker Soundcore Motion Boom is IPX7. Plus Anker has a handle, I find it very convenient. But I wish it had better sound quality, though, never heard JBL Charge to compare.

If this ever drops to $50 I'd jump in. Already have 8+ BT speakers and I mainly use Headphones lol!

I bought this about a month ago. Sounds great. Typical soundcore quality and a good value. One downside I found out is that it loses nearly all it's bass in super cold weather. I was ice fishing last weekend in 5 degrees Fahrenheit and it sounded like a cheap cell phone speaker. I think the bass woofer cones are sensitive to cold temperatures. Not a big deal for the 95% of the population that dislikes cold weather.

Yeah it does light up different colors which my kids love. Very impressive even if the lower version, I would only assume this one being that much better?

Idk from experience but from what I've read the sounds supposedly significantly better, which isn't taking anything away from the party one.
