Yes but anti-lice shampoo should work better. Good luck!

Make sure to check your traps every day. Found 4 snakes had drowned in a minnow trap once because I did not get there in time,

I see every dead snake as 100 live rodents Smilie

Except copperheads, those things can die in a fire….er…crawfish trap.

Any idea if this would work for catching eels in salt/brackish water?
At this price, I presume disposable and will rust out.

Hmm, the raffle ball thingies on Amazon and everywhere else are hecka-expensive... I'm considering turning this sideways and mounting it to two leg stands, then painting it silver, chrome, or gold and turning it into a raffle ball drawing thing-a-ma-jig...

Well, it's a thought and I'm creative and like to tinker, and I wasn't lying when I said the raffle contraptions are very $, almost surprising tbh.

You can catch asian crabs in these but not green crabs. Either are good for blackfish bait.
edit: I thought this was a minnow trap. Maybe greenies could get in there

Order again and you get 4 more, so technically it's any amount you would like to buy, just in separate orders

they'll catch anything, I use them for bass and stripers

how do you rig them for stripers? do you put the whole thing on a hook or only use the tail?

That would be fine if shipping were free with 4. I bought an extra net as a filler to reach the $25/order for free shipping.

When I was a boy, I had a galvanized version of this which I used to catch minnows. I'd take bread, put it in a small cotton bag, and tie it to the bottom, so that the scent of bread remained inside the trap. I'd also put a few small pieces loose inside it. I tied a cord to the snap that held the halves together, and tossed it into a stream, and caught all manner of minnows for a small native fish aquarium I had.
