Organic - yeah, right.
90% of all pumpkin seeds conusmed in the U.S. are grown in China. Bob's Red Mill China. Local organic bakery muffins China. All bread and snack bars use China seeds.
Organic - yeah, right.
Pumpkin seed quality varies tremendosly. The seeds suffer from poor handling. P.S. oil degrades easily. Go Raw are the common hulled variety with hulls removed. People in the know only buy p.s. raw and unsalted. The Styrian cutivar originally from Austria produces large oil-rich seeds which are naturally hull-less. If you can afford the best Styrian seeds are the ones to buy. Superseedz are Styrian.

I'm looking at it right now. Look under groceries same day delivery. But what I learned in last few minutes is that although they don't say so these seeds are most likely grown in China. I'm now looking for another brand to buy.
But yeah if you don't have same day delivery you'd have to go to the warehouse I did not see them on the online ordering site either
Post a costco item number in these threads so folks can verify that it is the same item. If it is not uncooked sprouted organic then you might as well post the 50 pound bag of bird seed. If it is then they still need to call their warehouse. Seeing an item in one Costco warehouse hardly assures universal availability. I've alread stated that S Jose warehouse only has one type of pumpkin seed and it's 14 oz Go Raw with a price which is is 30% higher compared to this deal with 15% S&S.
Why do people complain about the origin of these seeds when they regularly consume huge amounts of pumpkin seeds from China in baked goods, in energy bars, in cereals in snacks and in protein powders? 90% of all pumpkin seed sold in the U.S. is imported from China.
Only one type of pumpkin seed is superior. This is the Styrian or Austrian cultivar which is naturally hull-less. Expect to pay $20 / lb for more for these. U.S. producers of edible pumkin seeds are scarce and those that exist are small growers producing gourmet Styrian hull-less.
My understanding is that Go Raw has stringent quality control on seeds which they import then sprout and package here in the U.S.
