You literally have no idea how hard it is to kill your self with these things. We use this every winter, every day, every year, to supplement our oil furnace. Go back to playing Fortnite son.

Probably zero to none if used as directed.

This looks like a competitor Mr Heater big buddy
Plenty of people use Mr heater in a tent, just make sure you take a Carbon Monoxide Detector and I would keep it placed off the tent with a wood board or something that won't melt or catch fire easily.

Same with natural gas but you dont see everyone cutting off the natural gas to their houses.

I use this while camping with plenty of air flowing and additional sensors.

Most reports of people who die from propane heaters misuse or modify propane heaters that are not meant for indoor use.
most states require license for NG appliance installation for a reason, so your point is moot

How well would this work for backyard movie night for the kids for when it gets chilly around 50s degrees?

Do not use Coleman disposable to refill tanks with specialized forceps or tweezer tool. Soon or later, Schrader type valve used in Coleman tank will leak very slow enough to be unperceptible...
The best one I saw on youtube was not pulling up on that safety valve to let the air out.

He unscrewed the hose from the disposable tank and used the end of an allen wrench to press down on the valve piece inside the top fitting. That valve piece is pressed down and up every time you screw the tank onto the heater, so it should last much longer that the safety valve. The safety valve is a SAFETY device, and is only intended to work once.

I can't find that video, yt is full of the ones that say to use forceps and pull up the safety valve.

Here's a newer one showing the GOOD way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8d_aIay1co

The heat is very directional especially outside. It will maybe keep the kid in front of it toasty, 2 or 3 at the most. It works much better in a confined space like a small room or garage. Me, My wife and 2 kids huddled up in. 1 room together during the Texas freeze last year. Saved our butts from freezing. I got an adapter to use larger propane because these 1 lb tanks don't last long.

I just noticed the adapter you posted had a regulator and I was scratching my head for a second. I had no idea there was a quick connect option for these things. Good to know!
Just received the dyna glo today, no quick connect like on the big buddy. As far as I can tell, that's the only difference...and now I don't know how I'm going to hook my tank up to this thing since filters are sold out everywhere

Wonder how many people this product kills each year who use it inside their house.
Code is 50 cubic feet per 1000 BTU unvented. So with 8 foot ceilings 112.5 sq ft room. I would make sure to have a carbon monoxide detector but ya, safe.

I run a 36K BTU occasionally to empty a tank so I can fill it up for grilling/smoking come spring.

When propane burns, it creates heat, carbon dioxide, and water vapor. Using these heaters in a humid environment will cause you have condensation on all cold surfaces such as windows. I had a similar heating in a travel trailer and water was dripping from every cold surface.

I've never used one of these heaters in a dry climate, so the extra humidity might actually be a positive if you are in the desert.
MN winter is a dry climate. I dump over a gallon of water per day into my house to keep above 30%. The ventless NG fireplace downstairs helps a lot and we have not yet died from CO either. Smilie
