$224 at Bear Valley Denver location. Look for them on upper shelf above mower parts.

Have you tried the Ryobi or are you just speculating about it's "power" to cut grass?

Given that my Ryobi 40v snowblower can throw 9" of snow 15-20 feet, I find it hard to imagine that the same "power" can't cut 1-2 week old grass just as easily. (I'm not talking about foot tall, 2 month old grass).
No comment specifically on the Ryobi 40V, which I'm sure does well. But I've seen my Ego 56V struggle if I go into a big pile of leaves and I wouldn't expect any of the 18V models to do well in general with thick grass/leaf mulching. But there's more to it than just voltage, which also doesn't directly translate into power since there is varying motor efficiency, RPM, max battery current, etc. Blade and deck design matter too for example. All of this to say that power does matter as well as a bunch of other factors.

PS try that Ryobi 40V snowblower in some heavy wet snow and see how far it goes. I've tried Greenworks corded (110V) and Ego 56V single stage blowers and they both struggle with wet stuff, not to mention the end of driveway packed and icy crud from the plows. The two stage battery powered blowers may fare better, but I'm sticking with gas until I see proof that they can handle that kind of snow.

You're right that the Ryobi won't be as good as a two stage gas blower for 18" of heavy wet snow. I'm not expecting it to be.

If I lived in Buffalo NY, I would not buy the Ryobi. But I don't.

Where I live, we generally get 6-12" of snow per storm, and I hit it right away.

So far, my Ryobi has been able to handle my driveway fine using three batteries.

You are right about the "crud" (that the snow plow leaves, clearing the road) at the end of the driveway being harder to remove. So I just use half the blower width on that and it seems to work well.

Toro usually makes good stuff. Could be a good deal but I'm not sure I would really buy into the Toro battery platform as they may only have a few lawn care equipment tools on their proprietary platform. I think for most folks they would probably be better off buying into a larger battery platform like Dewalt makita and Ryobi which the batteries are interchangeable with other tools
Toro doesn't make this mower they just have an agreement with I believe globe tools group for this one. Many of the manufacturers like Toro and echo don't manufacturer their battery powered tools but let manufactures just badge tools they produce under another name with their name. Greenworks is made by Global and these are just modified Greenwork devices.

Just picked one up in Midlothian VA. Marked as $379. Rang up $224. Merchandising manager had to help us find it. He knew right where they were because he's had one for a couple years. Said he loves it. He was shocked when he saw what it rang up as

Michigan Shelby Township #2758 still has 3 left after I got one. Price tag was $399 but it rang for the OP price.

Brickseek qty was accurate.

Found 4 in Mesquite TX, at $224. Of note, there was a different version (same 21") on the shelf at $499. I checked the sku and realized I needed to keep looking.
Thanks OP

I picked up the recycler (model up from this) and it just works.

I had returned a ego 56v due to its terrible cut. The Toro blows Ego away.

With that Ego battery life is much better.

This deal is for the Recycler 21", maybe you picked up the Recycler 22"?

Regardless, thank you for the review. I hope this thing is good.

I was able to grab one! So excited! It wasn't in the aisle with all the mowers, I had to ask someone it was in the front of store in the middle of the main aisle. The guy who helped me grabbed one as well. I also bought the Trimmer/Blower combo for $199, anyone know if it's any good?

Snagged one in Houston (I10/Wirt). Sticker said $379, rang up $224. Lady said that she checked yesterday and it was still $379. So I guess it dropped today. I'm marginally skeptical with the battery mowers, but my 10 year old gas mower is on its last leg and the price was too good to pass up. There was one left around 1pm today.

If anyone in the St Louis area needs one, the St Charles Road location does indeed have "many" in stock, clearly marked $224 and stacked nicely in front of the mower display.
