I second this. Falls out much more easily, particularly when I smile. The sound is so much better though that I just walk around with permanent bitch face now 😂

Second gen fits better
Third gen has better sound

I found third gens too big for my ear and they fall out easy

I picked up the 3 when Amazon had them for 139 weeks back. The sound is much then my 1st gen but fit is not good.

Do I suck it up and keep the 3s which are better in every way or get these. Argh

My wife and I are probably in the minority here but we loved these OG AirPods. She has a 3rd gen and I have a Pro set but the 1st & 2nd gen AirPods fit both of us so much better. They were also easier to handle taking them in & out of your ear.

Yes, the Pros are great and I'm still trying the 3rd gens out because I never use the noise canceling feature on the Pros but I have a soft spot for the original AirPods. I want the original design with tweaked internals. It won't happen but a guy can wish.

I tried the 3rd gens and like many others, they just don't stay in my ears. You have that problem with the Pros? Tempted to try the Pros since the 3rd gen sounded so much better, however if they don't say in your ears... not gonna hear anything anyway Laugh1

I haven't tried the 3rd gen but I rebought 2nd gen because I use the tap for play pause and skip so often, and the thought of having to squeeze them makes me almost not want to even try 3rd gen. Especially in the colder climates with but gloves! Anyone else that loves the tapping have any input?

Loved these until the batteries died and found out it was $60 each to replace it (WTF?)

Got the $20 knockoffs on Amazon after that, and liked them so much I bought a second pair. Won't go back to Apple ones until they're $40
