A lot of newer Atkins products have removed maltitol but this one hasn't. The fact that they don't include nutrition info or a picture of the label (just the net carbs calculation) is usually a red flag.
If you're interested in keto or just bored, google sugar alcohol glycemic index. Some fake sugar is faker than others. The price is good if you want them anyhow, but they don't serve their intended purpose.
p.s. maltitol is also what gives the sugar free gummy bears their 'special effects'
All this fake food isn't good for you. Buying these bars is only symbolic of not eating junk.
Want to have good moods, feel joys you never had, smarter, socially relevant, and less fat? Eat only good foods and watch the weight and nagging food addiction melt away.

Maltitol is a type of carbohydrate called a sugar alcohol, or polyol. Maltitol contains half as many calories as sugar and is 90% as sweet. Maltitol is commercially produced from starch for use in baked goods, chewing gum, sugar-free chocolates, hard candies and ice cream
Maltitol is a sugar alcohol that increases blood sugar almost as much as regular table sugar and should be avoided on a keto diet. Sugar alcohols usually don't get absorbed or metabolized in the body. While most sugar alcohols are zero-carb, zero-calorie, Maltitol increases blood sugar levels.
After eating maltitol, some people experience stomach pains and gas. It also can act similarly to a laxative and cause diarrhea. The severity of these side effects depends on how much of it you eat and how your body reacts to it. There aren't any other major health concerns with using maltitol or other sugar alcohols.
'pro' tip: One thing you want to avoid doing if you get these bars is eat like 5 of them because you are hungry. You'll get a weird gassy diarrhea. Some are highly effected and some not as much, so take note when eating them.
