I like the taste of Atkins brand snacks, but the ingredients are really bad for you. Seems like Quest does it better.

So if you have issues with regular bowel movements - this will certainly increase the frequency of explosive movements. Not sure about this variety - but the "snickers" like one of this tasted great.

Too bad Atkins uses maltitol in most of their products because I really like the taste of these. They know the science but would rather use suboptimal sugar alcohols to save money.

MALTITOL. Affects insulin as much as sugar, with the bonus of massive stomach cramps followed by diarrhea.

I'm not sure if this is the same brand that is at Aldi (so someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

If it is the same as Aldi, the packaging I bought from there said "made with bioengineered ingredients". Don't know what that is but never bought it again because of it.

What are good sugar alternatives you can buy at the store. I have been trying to stop eating sugar and I'm making my own desserts to help with that. I'm using non GMO xylitol but it always worry me since all of those sugar alternative names sound so horrible to me.

Bioengineered is the new term for genetically modified foods.

I've been on Atkins for over a year and these types of treats are great to help you get through the first few months where you're craving sweets.

But like everyone else said, they will absoultely RUIN your stomach. Enjoy cramping and frequent trips to the bathroom with these.

My only "treat" I have now are the Quest Peanut Butter Cups. Each package only has 1 net gram of carbs and they don't blow you out.

This is the everyday price at the store. Amazon marks up food substantially, so if you don't need the delivery, tou may try your local grocery chain for a better deal.

Around here it's in-between those two prices. Usually around $5-6 on all Atkins Treat 5 count. Meal bars $7-8.

I'm only seeing $1.12 discount on $5.99 single purchase or $5.09 SS option. I'm currently SS to the Snickers one so maybe they don't want to give me full discount?
