This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

So I could say my white tmobile s21 is a white verizon s21?
i don't know about you, but I had T-Mobile unlock my S21. So I can say it an unlocked model. They did it without hassle. So I then traded it in with ease.

If I get the deal and have a new number assigned, can I just put my mint sim in and just cancel the tmoibqe account immediately? I still have 7 months of Mint to go.

Correct. I used my sister's T-Mobile account info to purchase 13 pro max at Best Buy as an upgrade to her existing line (I did opt for full/1-time payment with Best Buy).

Picked up the phone this morning, used my sister T-Mobile sim card to set up the phone so the phone became locked to T-mobile.

I then reached out to T-force via FB messenger asking them to unlock the phone for me. All they asked for was IMEI and my sister mobile number. 5 minutes later, the phone is now unlocked. My sister has given me her full account login before when I tried to help her get Magenta Max insider hookup discount via FB messenger, which I did not succeed Frown

I am now happily using the phone on AT&T. Explained earlier that I could have popped in my AT&T sim card to begin with but ultimately want the phone unlocked so went this route, which turns out to be much easier than I imagine vs. risking the AT&T sim trick and have the phone locked to AT&T and be passed between AT&T and T-Mobile when asking for unlock.

Thank you! Really appreciate the explanation. This sounds like the easiest pathway to getting a fully unlocked phone

I used my friend's T-Mobile account to purchase this iPhone and now I get the phone. T-Force says that the device has to be active for 40 days to unlock. So does it mean that my friend need to use this phone with his SIM card for these 40 days? Any idea?

Does anyone know when the warranty kicks in? I got the iPhone 13 but I haven't activated it. I searched the IMEI for it and it shows inactive and warranty not is not defined yet. I'm waiting until a month before my SO's birthday to activate it so at least the warranty will be at least 11 months instead of activating now in which case it will have only 8 months when she starts using it. She has Verizon so I'll activate it on T-Mobile (I'm on T-Mobile) a month or so ahead so it can be unlocked.

Don't activate on T Mobile. keep the phone sealed and activate when you put your SO's sim card into the iphone. it will get locked to Verizon, but who cares? she's keep the phone on her network where it should be activated. The phones are not locked when they're factory sealed. it's only when a Best Buy employee puts a SIM card into it when you pick it up.

Just noticed 10% off Best Buy on two of my Chase cards under "Chase Offers". Should stack well.
